- Breaking up is hard to do! I filmed this while I was going through it and the days felt so long and repetitive (good grief). I found solace in listening to women, such as Shere Hite, talk about women and love, and learning more about my chart (thank you, Eva Moolchan!!!). The only foolproof way of making all this make sense ❤️ Happy to say I'm doing fine now 🌼✨ Hope you are doing well and staying SAFE!

I needed this. My partner of 2 years broke up with me last week. I've been feeling so lost. But it's comforting knowing I'm not alone, and that everything I'm feeling is normal.
Having the motivation to film and create while going through something painful itself is hard to do!

the most helpful thing i realised about break-ups, was that they showed me they weren't right for me. even if it didn't feel like it at the time, they actually did me a favour.

my 4 year ex bf broke up with me two weeks ago. It was such an ugly breakup, he broke up with me via text cuz he just stopped loving me even though I still love him so much. It’s so painful and I feel like i’m never going to recover. I wake up everyday with a weight on my chest, I barely sleep because I have nightmares. I’m so sad.
You’ll get through. It’s sucks and it’s painful but soon it will start to hurt a little less and you will build a new life

Captured the beautiful mundane
Broke up with my boyfriend of 3 years a month ago for many reasons. I still love him but the things he did to me built up over the Panini and the relationship was not fostering beauty or growth anymore.
I think what’s hardest is I’ll never get back the person he was before the Panini. He was positive, communicative, open and gentle. He almost lost his family business last year and another side of him came out that was emotionally stunted and totally incommunicative. I tried to work through it for a year but he could never compromise or try for me.
He missed or reduced all our dates and would come home drunk. He told me I was too nice, too soft and the world was darker than I could ever imagine. The night before we broke up, he drove an average of 200km/hr with me in the front seat begging him to stop.
I moved out so he could have his own space to acknowledge his actions. He slept with a woman 2 weeks later in the bed that used to be mine.
I’m not grieving him. I’m grieving the person I fell in love with. The fact that it could’ve been so good. But I guess bad times reveal people’s true colours.
If he ever does seek help and grow, it’ll kill me to watch him do all the things I wanted to do but with another person.

So interesting about how Shere Hite says women name things and find that when they are unhappy in a relationship instead of taking on the label that society puts on them as wanting too much or being “crazy” they come to a sort of realization which is so true. Something I also wanted to note was as a bisexual I find that some women in order to protect themselves in today society have taken on the attitudes and actions of men yet society sees women who act like men as undesirable and less worthy of respect yet society fails to look at how the treatment of women as
“the others” is what got us here in the first place those same beliefs and actions that men continue to reinforce is exactly why women have continue to transition into these more masculine “gender norms”. The concept of femininity and masculinity continued to be reinforced. Most people are only biologically different in very small ways. While some argue that having a baby isn’t a small difference but rather an important one. I agree that having a baby is an important difference between men and women but biology has nothing to do with gender norm. Gender norms is a social construct that has been reinforced for 100’s of years. What I believe is the important thing here is gender shouldn’t dictate how we see one another. Gender shouldn’t be used to measure anything in this world. Gender shouldn’t matter when it’s used to control and suppress people.
