This series need to blow up, the amount of knowledge is unreal! Thanks Erik for your hard work. Guys like and share these things, support the guy that’s helping us all!
I do sling drills with my hunting guns. You never know when game is going to pop up when getting in or out of your spot or when stalk hunting. The drills have paid off.
Man this is way too cool!! I was literally on that site just last week!!!! Snipers hide has been such a great resource for people like me who are still learning. I'm 28 years old its crazy to think frank started that website when I was 6 years old lol 😆 thank you frank for everything!
Eric - Definitely Chris Way for an interview recommendation. He's absolutely a rigorous, logical, structured, data driven, and innovative thinker about shooting and his presentation of his knowledge is rock solid. I think you would find him to be a VERY interesting interview guest.
Brilliant Erik & Frank. Mr.Cortina, this series you've created is absolutely amazing and I'm totally hooked. Thank you, the wealth of information pouring out of the list of legends you keep piling on is truly astonishing and I'm very grateful to be able to listen and learn.
I was doing some load workup yesterday and compared the 140 grain ELDX match ammo to my hand loads. My SDs on the Hornady stuff across nine rounds was 13.5 but my ES was 44... My worst hand load yesterday with Burger 140s with 41.1 of h4350 was an SD of 7 and ES of 10. Granted it was a ladder test and only three rounds but come on. My best was 41.9 grains SD of 1.7 and an ES of 3. Without talking about group size difference, which was absolutely enormous, at range your dials will never be consistent with the factory stuff.
Erik I've seen you hit up alot of godfathers of the precision rifle shooting & reloading world, absolutely love the content that you'r putting together for the precision rifle, long & extreme range shooting community. if I could recommend an extremely knowledgeable person in our type of shooting community that inspired me the most from the start & gave me the long range precision bug..it would be Mathew Tibor/ tiborasaurus rex (rex reviews). very! very! knowledgeable person. I really think you would appreciate the added knowledge he could provide for this channel..thanks again Erik keep the content coming.
The main thing these two guys have in common is they like teaching, and it does feel good to see the lightbulb come on in someone you are teaching, be it a shooter, a carpenter's apprentice, a reloader, or a hunting dog. Also like one thing Frank picked out, certain bullets are made to run optimally at certain speeds, use the right weight bullet for the cartridge, at the right speed. That was a good interview.
As an 6mm ARC gas gun fan, I definitely felt a thrill starting at 1:04 ;-) . I've gleaned a lot off Snipershide, and this was the inspiration to join up today.
I know a couple guys that run a 22Grendel and it is still carrying 1590-1620 @ 1k yds with an 88gn ELD-M. Pretty wild to see that one at 26 min of ele, makes me wanna order a 223 bolt face action and just play for weeks. Always good to see Frank. I would love to go out West for a few weeks and just take a bunch of classes.
Also, try to get Bryan Litz on sometime. "Modern Advancements in Long Range Shooting" and "Ballistic Performance of Rifle Bullets" are must-haves for ballistic nerds.
I've read his book and learned a good deal from it. I'm not a competitive shooter. But my targets look much better with one hole groups instead of looking like a shotgun shot them. Fred W.
Really really enjoyed this video. Not finished. Wanted to know more about Frank Galli. I live in Denmark. Do not agree with your gunlaws…..But wow I’ve learned alot from both of you. I’m 61. Shooting longrange. Maybe I should take a shooting course in the US and meet the people I SOMETIMES don’t understand. Hope you all understand me right. You can have an opinion longdistance here in Europe - but you also have to be openminded. I’ve seen tons of videos with happy US families shooting .22LR with their children - lots of grownups too. I’ll visit US before I get too old. Have lots of family there. Could be terrific. Kind regards Jesper
@wvideoyahoodk Hope you can make it to the US one day. Don't believe the media in the US, they have been trying to take our firearms for decades, and exaggerate and lie about what's happening here every chance they get. The Second Amendment/shooting community is alive and well, and as kind as they come. People like Frank and Eric are the norm, not what the media tries to represent. I've been an avid shooter/reloader all my 53 years and have yet to meet someone I wouldn't shoot with again. I'm in Ohio, hit me up if you ever want to come to Ohio!
Eric, when are you going to have a high power rifle shooter on your channel? There are like 1K people that go to Camp Perry to shoot HP and you don't have anyone. How about Norm Houle, guy that has been shooting and winning HP matches since the 80s and he won the NRA HP Champ five times.
Hey Erik. Interview Eagle Eye Shooting. After your response on his Neck Sizing video, I think he took it down. I'd like to see what if he changed his mind.
I was curious about frank's forum . No thanks ! Made the mistake of looking in the "bear pit" . You should warn your readers about it ! I am not sure how that type of speech in todays world is allowed .
@dalechud Lots of good guys on snipers hide, including Frank. Been on it for over a decade and have made lots of good friends. Lots of great areas besides the bear pit, I hope you'll reconsider, you don't know what your missing

This is the dynamic duo we've been waiting for! Outstanding as always Erik!

Great episode. Definitely one of my favorites. The book is a great learning tool. Thank you both.

Frank is a S-Tier guest for sure. Really enjoyed that one! I appreciate you giving him the floor Mr. Cortina. Great interview session!

good one. I always appreciate the little bits of wisdom that pop up from Frank.
…….and it’s a conversation. You give each other time to answer. Very very nice.
Liked the point on malfunction clearing. Was at a PRS match this weekend and someone had two in a short time period, had to clear them on the fly

Great podcast.I may have been skeptical of some of your exploits on camera at first but I must say your podcast is growing on me one by one.
Thanks you two very much for all the great information👍👍👍
Awesome! My Army sniper time and the fclass matches I shoot today are a whole different world. Class of 1999 Fort Benning
Frank's book is really fun to read.
wow wow wow, would love to see you "Frank" come down to South Africa for a training week. just finished reading the book, think I'll go read it again.

A good one. Have know Frank for many years. I am in his book. Enjoyed the part about the 224 V.

Cris Way won some torture challenge that was on television a year or so ago. He was up a against a couple of hundred other competitors.
Great way to spend twierky day. Learning from the masters.

You two are legendary! Great stuff!
Fantastic interview. Thanks.
I just watched the Expo video last night and thought "Erik needs to get this guy on an interview". Today, boom!
So good. Erik I’ll be buying more EC tuner breaks soon. Have two now
Can't wait for part 2!
Great interview, very informative and interesting 😎😎👍

Literally 95% of the gun violence in the US comes from big cities where gun laws are most strict, not from where most people are gun owners.

What size rifles are they using in HP, I’ve never heard of it, I’m in Australia mate cheers Yogi ✌️🤙
Pure awesome-sauce.

Frank your a fun lovin guy
Erik your the man
A 4 min shooter from all positions is uncommon!
4 MIN AKA...
Minute of Man
Excellent interview and guest Erik! I've read Frank's book cover to cover, a great book.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I lasted 17 minutes and fell asleep
I see who I will have my next class with ….
Would it be possible to take a class Mr. Galli offers as a non US citizen?
Good question mate ✌️🤙
Gunna do the sniper hide app later today.
Frank is great.
Center mass versus points, two different situations!
Fantastic
Good stuff

Hell ya
Hello you two
Any chance you can put these on the Podbean app???
💯💯🎯👍
No one can turn me into a one MOA shooter at 100 yards.
Why?
@@ronsanchez2842 I’ve pretty much dedicated my life to becoming one. Haven’t made it yet.
I don't know why "Long Range" is only PRS/NRL to these people.
It’s not. It’s just what’s common to us. 🤷♂️
HA First In the door.
And two guys dancing around the 6xc elephant in the room
Lol
2nd lol
