Beautiful Camp Spot in Northern Colorado | Creekside in the Forest

Gould is a tiny little community in northern Colorado that is hidden among a wonderland of hiking opportunities! We were lucky to find an amazing dispersed camping spot in the area. Our camp spot was roomy with access to a beautiful, refreshing creek. Although busy on the weekends, we enjoyed the overall peaceful setting in the woods. And we were visited by a mother moose and her baby! What a treat.
While we were dispersed camping near Gould, we had so many incredible hiking opportunities to choose from in the surrounding area. We don't often visit state parks but we were so glad that we checked out State Forest State Park. And we set off on two different backpacking adventures in the gorgeous Rawah Wilderness. This area is a gem! Well... Colorado itself is just spectacular in my opinion.

I worked at Glenn echo for a few years Gould is great for camping if you have a good 4x4 to get u in some spots its the best
