In response to your comment that you made regarding your earlier pricing. If a customer is not too happy to pay the price that you have quoted, all you have to do is ask that customer if they want the cheaper price, so then to do the job themselves. By this, what I mean is ask them if they have the tools to do the job. Secondly do they have the knowledge or experience to carry out that particular job. Thirdly do they have the contacts to get and discounts on material. I can almost guarantee that the answer will be the same to all 3 questions. Let that customer know that the reason that you charge whatever your rate is factors in all of the above. Secondly like any business you have builds to pay just as they do.
