sir i have a work permit in cyman i am doing job as a cook, my duty hours just 8 and i have alot time to do another things, can i do another part time jobs ?
I'm living in Jamaica for more than 4 years and every day we have complaints about the cost of life however I was visiting Cayman in the last year and living there is like living in Dubai. That's from another world

As student living in the Cayman Islands temporarily coming from NY, I can say it is VERY COSTLY living here. Rent, food, groceries EVERYTHING. And the Cayman currency, CI is worth more than US dollars so it's a struggle out here forreal 😫.
Joy I can tell you about it as a permit holder tht making under 3thousand dollar a month 😢
im american and went to Cayman for a week to "vacation".... and was STRUGGLING!!! 😭😭😭😥😥😥 We was DYIN to get back to America! It felt like we only got 50% of the dollar lol when you add up surcharges and conversion rates
Although cost of living is high here, alot of people wants to live above their means

All I know I'm not working for no $6 per hours, ropers and most cleaning company pays $6 per hrs. We have to be smart, if we want to make it on this Island

I was working for a company by the name of flowers, up until last week for 6.50 per hour as a driver and porter and I left n head back home to ja. Made so sense I stayed n suffered n was living a better life here in ja

Jamaica is a walk in the park with those kind of expenses in Cayman, I will stay outside and look in not for me.
My rent here for a 1 bedroom is more than I charge for my 800k 5 bedroom house in Canada
You have to budget yourself in America too if you do not want to run into debt. Many people I know have a full time job and a side hustle on weekends (or just Saturday for 10 or 12 hours)

@manojnegi7572 It is illegal to work another job on your work permit.Your work permit is specific to your employer.Permit can be evoked,if such rule is broken.
