The scammers were petrified that he knew their real names . The whole video is hilarious . At one point Jim calls himself Jason after Jason Bourne though the reference flew over all the scammers heads and then he switched to Ghost .

Uber eats driver has no excuse. We can cash out like 5 times a day. All he had to do was do a couple deliveries in an hour, and he would have enough for his own food. I'm an Uber driver and I find this appalling!
What gets me is the people probably blamed the restaurant and either complained/gave a bad review or never ordered from them again. So that restaurant prob lost business cause of him. And they unknowingly ate food that was touched with his disgusting hands 🤢

As a restaurant worker, the amount of meals that get stolen is astonishing. Also incredibly stressful on a busy rush to have to remake things that have already been done. I despise third party companies; all the risk is on the restaurant and the customers.
I work as a waitress in a restaurant and we just recently got glovo, none of us had experience with third party delivery and the guy picked the food up but 10 min later the buyer calls us and tell us his guy has been waiting there to pick up the food. (the guy picked it up and didn't confirm he got it, they just canceled the order so we just lost that food since payment comes after the client receive their order). It doesn't feel nice to doubt ppl, but now we ask everyone of the driver to show us he confirmed that he got the food.
My restaurant when I worked there stopped accepting third party orders because the apps always had wrong prices, as in the order always came out like 15-30$ more expensive than it should have on the app, so they couldn't even pay for the food in the store with the card to pick it up to take it to the person.
Drivers can’t “cancel” the order. They can "unassign"themselves and then the order is cycled through the system waiting for a driver to accept the offer again. And drivers are actually contractors, therefore have full right to unassign or pass based on whatever they deem fair business on their end. I’m a 3rd party driver. We get scammed all the time too. Sneaky snakes are coming up with new ones for us constantly. Contacting support to make sure we have everything documented is no fun and takes up way too much valuable time that we have to be picky & suspicious. Even if that means telling the restaurant they have to remake bc their customer actually lives out of zone and put a false addy down to get someone to pick it up only to play the dumb & hungry card when you call to find out why they aren’t inside the dentist office just down the street at 8pm. Free food for us or the homeless in that case. Not stolen.
I think restaurants should hire their own drivers. Using third party sites is now too expensive. You order one meal that is usually about $10 and the subtotal all together is almost $30. NOPE! I can't use them anymore.

When I was working on a telemetry floor, a young man had came in for chest pain. 23 years old. Hooked him to the monitors and he has been doing great 2am his heart rate on the monitor went up 50 beats and was really odd rhythm, 3 nurses ran into his room and busted thru the door to see the young man had decided to errr uhhh take care of his business lmao not realizing we saw everything his heart was doing lol his was mortified!!

I obviously don't have a video of it but I once worked at a supermarket. One of the most annoying but also interesting things is all the various products we find places they definitely don't belong. I'm talking about salmon which clearly spend several days on a shelf so well hidden that we didn't find it until waaaay too late etc. One day, this woman decided that the shrimp belong in the shelf for puzzles. Nobody ever bought a puzzle so there'd be a good chance of those shrimp to be there for WEEKS. I caught her. Snape style. I've never seen a more embarrassed person in my life. Her child was embarrassed for her too. It was fun. At least the child learned something important that day😂
Good. I 99% return items on the correct shelf, unless I'm in a huge store and in one hell of a hurry, but never ever would I leave refrigerated or frozen goods just there. If anything, it's like a package or ramen or some chips, that I decide last minute I don't need or are too caloric and they're closing in 3 mins so I think keeping them at the register longer while I go all the way back up is more of a hassle than them just putting them back tomorrow, or if I have a bus to catch, or if I'm not feeling well, etc. If I can, I always bring stuff back, and if I see someone knocked down some stuff or stuff are in the wrong section, like "thai curry" is in the "bami goreng" place, and I have time, I put stuff back, and not just cause I worked retail too (bookstore, no food involved, but I understand), I used to that before, because it feels like the right thing to do. At times I see people knocking down stuff and starting to leave and I start picking up and they look so embarrassed and pretending like they didn't notice, yeah right. People suck.

Same, but I agree. He seemed to be doing fine, because he had a stapler, bicycle, reusable food containers, and a backpack, which combined is not cheap. And Uber driver's can make a decent amount of money off of tips and multiple deliveries in one day.
My problem with it was not simply that he took the food. It's possible for people to go from doing fine to dire financial straits unexpectedly, which could explain the bike, backpack, earbuds, etc. while still being desperate for a meal. But he used his bare hands, which indicates disrespect and disregard for the health of the person who ordered the food. Someone who is really struggling and only stealing out of necessity could still at least use clean gloves or a fork to take a little bit of food. Also he took waaaaay more than necessary. If I were in _that_ desperate a situation, I would only be taking a tiny bit from each order I delivered, not half the food from a single order. Except I wouldn't be doing that either, because there are other ways to get free food that are much more ethical.

I was ready to defend the food delivery guy until the end. I’m a gig driver & have been accused of the same when the food was cancelled en route. The merchant won’t take it back & support just tells us to dispose of it. So it's understood amongst drivers that means eat it or find a homeless person. But yeah… he definitely stole someone’s food.

It's creepy, but she's in a public space, unfortunately as far as I know there are no laws against filming whatever you want in public. Which is why if I'll ever change my mind and will want to have a child, I'd never let him/her run around at the beach or other places totally naked, because I'd be so concerned with pedos not even necessarily taking pics or vids, but even just mental pics, which they'll then later "use" at home, and the thought of it makes me so sick that I want to never expose my non existent child to the outside world. Call me a Karen or whatever, but we sign a contract stating we will not touch people's food, we will carry and use proper temp preservation items. They don't pay great but you can make around 10-15 an hour after gas on a busy time. Depends on the customer really. Even customers that I know are not tipping me, and we do know, still deserve the same treatment as big tippers. I may silently curse you out and will definitely rate you poorly but I still use my bags and have a smile on my face.

Yes to the servers comment!! But ironically the "messing with food" stuff doesn't happen as often as you think. My brothers worked in various restaurants for the last 16 years, varying from fancy Italian restaurants to sports bars. In those 16 years only once did he ever see a coworker mess with someones food. Apparently the customer was SUPER rude & just a deplorable human making the server almost cry. So one of the coworkers took this dudes steak, dropped it on the kitchen floor, let it sit there before stepping on it slightly & then replated it. My brother has had his fair share of rude customers, including famous one that'll order hundreds of dollars worth of food & stiff him on a tip. He NEVER messes with their food or drinks. He'd just come home & bitch about it later to vent.
Yesterday I ordered £80 worth of Grocery food on deliveroo. ( they do groceries in London) Good quality Meat, fruit, veg etc. I saw on map that driver is going wrong way and then suddenly marked it as delivered. He stole it. They refunded me straight away but it feels horrible and very personal. And my daughter was upset as she was waiting for sweet treats!

My little claim to fame, was winning a competition in '97 to actually meet the Spice Girls! It wasn't my uber-fan knowledge as such though, that made the local headlines - more the fact I was 25 years old, and would be taking my hubby with me! As part of my (hard-won!) prize, everything was paid for - the concert, a whole bunch of merch, our full travel to London with a chauffeur-driven Merc from the station, and 3 nights' all-inclusive 5 star hotel stay - so as I'm sure you'll agree, it was well worth taking up the whole front page of my local newspaper in full and glorious technicolour lol, whilst wearing my Spice Girls pajamas, reclining on my Spice Girls bean bag, showing off my completed Spice Girls photo card collection, being surrounded by Spice Girl CDs...😆😆 [edit: please forgive my fat thumbs/double editing!🙏]

No, the Uber Eats driver ISN'T STEALING FOOD BECAUSE HE'S HUNGRY - HE'S STEALING FOOD BECAUSE HE DOESN'T WANT TO BUY HIS OWN FOOD AND INSTEAD HE EXPECTS HIS CUSTOMERS TO FEED HIM. This is not uncommon, and unfortunately we stopped using Uber Eats because we found quite often that our food had been tampered with, and portions were missing.

4:50 there are people who reverse-hack these call centers and shut down their scams by deleting everything on their hard drives while talking to them like this.

As a restaurant worker, the amount of meals that get stolen is astonishing. Also incredibly stressful on a busy rush to have to remake things that have already been done. I despise third party companies; all the risk is on the restaurant and the customers.
I work as a waitress in a restaurant and we just recently got glovo, none of us had experience with third party delivery and the guy picked the food up but 10 min later the buyer calls us and tell us his guy has been waiting there to pick up the food. (the guy picked it up and didn't confirm he got it, they just canceled the order so we just lost that food since payment comes after the client receive their order). It doesn't feel nice to doubt ppl, but now we ask everyone of the driver to show us he confirmed that he got the food.
My restaurant when I worked there stopped accepting third party orders because the apps always had wrong prices, as in the order always came out like 15-30$ more expensive than it should have on the app, so they couldn't even pay for the food in the store with the card to pick it up to take it to the person.

Drivers can’t “cancel” the order. They can "unassign"themselves and then the order is cycled through the system waiting for a driver to accept the offer again. And drivers are actually contractors, therefore have full right to unassign or pass based on whatever they deem fair business on their end. I’m a 3rd party driver. We get scammed all the time too. Sneaky snakes are coming up with new ones for us constantly. Contacting support to make sure we have everything documented is no fun and takes up way too much valuable time that we have to be picky & suspicious. Even if that means telling the restaurant they have to remake bc their customer actually lives out of zone and put a false addy down to get someone to pick it up only to play the dumb & hungry card when you call to find out why they aren’t inside the dentist office just down the street at 8pm. Free food for us or the homeless in that case. Not stolen.
I think restaurants should hire their own drivers. Using third party sites is now too expensive. You order one meal that is usually about $10 and the subtotal all together is almost $30. NOPE! I can't use them anymore.

When I was working on a telemetry floor, a young man had came in for chest pain. 23 years old. Hooked him to the monitors and he has been doing great 2am his heart rate on the monitor went up 50 beats and was really odd rhythm, 3 nurses ran into his room and busted thru the door to see the young man had decided to errr uhhh take care of his business lmao not realizing we saw everything his heart was doing lol his was mortified!!

I obviously don't have a video of it but I once worked at a supermarket. One of the most annoying but also interesting things is all the various products we find places they definitely don't belong. I'm talking about salmon which clearly spend several days on a shelf so well hidden that we didn't find it until waaaay too late etc.
One day, this woman decided that the shrimp belong in the shelf for puzzles. Nobody ever bought a puzzle so there'd be a good chance of those shrimp to be there for WEEKS. I caught her. Snape style. I've never seen a more embarrassed person in my life. Her child was embarrassed for her too. It was fun. At least the child learned something important that day😂
Good. I 99% return items on the correct shelf, unless I'm in a huge store and in one hell of a hurry, but never ever would I leave refrigerated or frozen goods just there. If anything, it's like a package or ramen or some chips, that I decide last minute I don't need or are too caloric and they're closing in 3 mins so I think keeping them at the register longer while I go all the way back up is more of a hassle than them just putting them back tomorrow, or if I have a bus to catch, or if I'm not feeling well, etc. If I can, I always bring stuff back, and if I see someone knocked down some stuff or stuff are in the wrong section, like "thai curry" is in the "bami goreng" place, and I have time, I put stuff back, and not just cause I worked retail too (bookstore, no food involved, but I understand), I used to that before, because it feels like the right thing to do. At times I see people knocking down stuff and starting to leave and I start picking up and they look so embarrassed and pretending like they didn't notice, yeah right. People suck.

Had a doordash driver eat my chickfila. Tore the sealed bag, ate half my fries, took a bite of the chicken and put it back in the bun like I wouldn't notice. Never ordered delivery again, and reported him. He was rude af too, and I tip well!

One thing he asked for and they didn't deliver it. Luckily I called kept calm surprisingly. They brought it and gave me the money back for the cake and half of our dinner. Same, but I agree. He seemed to be doing fine, because he had a stapler, bicycle, reusable food containers, and a backpack, which combined is not cheap. And Uber driver's can make a decent amount of money off of tips and multiple deliveries in one day.
My problem with it was not simply that he took the food. It's possible for people to go from doing fine to dire financial straits unexpectedly, which could explain the bike, backpack, earbuds, etc. while still being desperate for a meal. But he used his bare hands, which indicates disrespect and disregard for the health of the person who ordered the food. Someone who is really struggling and only stealing out of necessity could still at least use clean gloves or a fork to take a little bit of food. Also he took waaaaay more than necessary. If I were in _that_ desperate a situation, I would only be taking a tiny bit from each order I delivered, not half the food from a single order. Except I wouldn't be doing that either, because there are other ways to get free food that are much more ethical.

I was ready to defend the food delivery guy until the end. I’m a gig driver & have been accused of the same when the food was cancelled en route. The merchant won’t take it back & support just tells us to dispose of it. So it's understood amongst drivers that means eat it or find a homeless person. But yeah… he definitely stole someone’s food.

It's creepy, but she's in a public space, unfortunately as far as I know there are no laws against filming whatever you want in public. Which is why if I'll ever change my mind and will want to have a child, I'd never let him/her run around at the beach or other places totally naked, because I'd be so concerned with pedos not even necessarily taking pics or vids, but even just mental pics, which they'll then later "use" at home, and the thought of it makes me so sick that I want to never expose my non existent child to the outside world. Sometimes I do wonder, has anyone ever snapped a pic of me at the beach, or when I was still 20 yo and had one hell of a body (now I have a beer baby, and all the cheese I love so much caught up with me so I'm not that hot lmao, but if I dare say so myself, when I was younger I was quite the sight, flat stomach, big boobs, broad hips, long hair), and it's quite alarming to think of it. Especially if you've ever seen/read the "our love forever" on r/niceguys, and if you haven't, please look up SorrowTV video about it, it's so fucking creepy, this girl who got asked out by a coworker and declined, and after that, he seemed fine, just nodded at her when he arrived at work, and never talked to her, but journaled about her every day describing what she was wearing, his fantasies for their future together once she "realized he was her one true love", he even already chose names for their kids, and she knew nothing of all of this. It made me afraid to leave the house.

Call me a Karen or whatever, but we sign a contract stating we will not touch people's food, we will carry and use proper temp preservation items. They don't pay great but you can make around 10-15 an hour after gas on a busy time. Depends on the customer really. Even customers that I know are not tipping me, and we do know, still deserve the same treatment as big tippers. I may silently curse you out and will definitely rate you poorly but I still use my bags and have a smile on my face.

I tell you what, if I am ever in a position to be able to order uber eats or door dash or whatever, I'm still not going to. Not after seeing SOOOOOOOO many disgusting things the delivery drivers do to the food, if they don't outright steal it, along with anything else they can..... nope, not having someone rub my food on their crotch before they deliver it to me, or stick their hand down their pants and wipe it all over the food etc. Nope, if I can't pick it up myself, I'll go without. And ALWAYS be nice to the servers :D I don't need extra spitty sauce either on my burgers....
Yes to the servers comment!! But ironically the "messing with food" stuff doesn't happen as often as you think. My brothers worked in various restaurants for the last 16 years, varying from fancy Italian restaurants to sports bars. In those 16 years only once did he ever see a coworker mess with someones food. Apparently the customer was SUPER rude & just a deplorable human making the server almost cry. So one of the coworkers took this dudes steak, dropped it on the kitchen floor, let it sit there before stepping on it slightly & then replated it. My brother has had his fair share of rude customers, including famous one that'll order hundreds of dollars worth of food & stiff him on a tip. He NEVER messes with their food or drinks. He'd just come home & bitch about it later to vent.
Yesterday I ordered £80 worth of Grocery food on deliveroo. ( they do groceries in London) Good quality Meat, fruit, veg etc. I saw on map that driver is going wrong way and then suddenly marked it as delivered. He stole it. They refunded me straight away but it feels horrible and very personal. And my daughter was upset as she was waiting for sweet treats!

My little claim to fame, was winning a competition in '97 to actually meet the Spice Girls! It wasn't my uber-fan knowledge as such though, that made the local headlines - more the fact I was 25 years old, and would be taking my hubby with me! Something the Girls themselves found equally hilarious, to the point of him being the only plus-one included in the photos - cue months of him bragging around the pub about how "Posh Spice [his favourite] put her arm around me!" (which in all fairness, is exactly what she did!)
I was so starstruck at the subsequent "meet and greet" lol, that I honestly can't remember half the things I said and talked about - I mean we're talking about the biggest girl group in the world right here! - but what I do know, is that alongside all their autographs, and the lipstick prints left on my cheeks, I had a truly fabulous time!
As part of my (hard-won!) prize, everything was paid for - the concert, a whole bunch of merch, our full travel to London with a chauffeur-driven Merc from the station, and 3 nights' all-inclusive 5 star hotel stay - so as I'm sure you'll agree, it was well worth taking up the whole front page of my local newspaper in full and glorious technicolour lol, whilst wearing my Spice Girls pajamas, reclining on my Spice Girls bean bag, showing off my completed Spice Girls photo card collection, being surrounded by Spice Girl CDs...😆😆

No, the Uber Eats driver ISN'T STEALING FOOD BECAUSE HE'S HUNGRY - HE'S STEALING FOOD BECAUSE HE DOESN'T WANT TO BUY HIS OWN FOOD AND INSTEAD HE EXPECTS HIS CUSTOMERS TO FEED HIM. This is not uncommon, and unfortunately we stopped using Uber Eats because we found quite often that our food had been tampered with, and portions were missing.
What if HE IS HUNGRY?!?!?!?! What if the person who spent their hard earned money on the delivery is hungry? Huh?? And what if the are homebound so have no option but delivery, and it is not a splurge but a necessity and he stole from them.
