The idea of there being such a power imbalance, but the speaker doesn't abuse the imbalance, is what is thrilling to me. The "gentle giantess" trope. Or amazon. Or simply a very tall and strong normal person. Whatever works. The flip of that is the tiny listener, a borrower sized person or affected by some shrinking plot device. Again, whatever works. If that isn't your cup of tea, then enemies to lovers is a favorite trope of mine. Exes to lovers also. I have a soft spot for tough girls, as you can probably tell by now. Basically, I'm pretty flexible. Just no crazies. I don't like crazies. I've had enough crazies in my real life, I don't want them in my fantasies.
