Fantastic video Mark! Very helpful. Would you apply the same method to the newer V Shocks?
Also, can you send me the plans for the shock holder?
    Thanks again!

I cannot see if this are the Variable Shocks or not. At the V shocks we have the problem with the rebound by filling it up.

Hey Mate, mine are not variable - the same method should work fine tho, maybe even better than a standard shock. The added port (or variable part) should flow the silicone better. Let me know if you gibe it a try!! Thanks for the comment!

Thanks for the video. We used to use the little twisty ballons for shock boots. good on our 8th scale buggy shocks, they kept them from getting scratched up. And they where cheap.

I wish 1/5 onroad was more popular here in Texas. We have some but not as intense as Europe and Australia.

Would love a copy of the plans for the shock stand. Have you tried this method on the new variable flow mecatech shocks?

I don't use hobby-grade silicon oil, they're so expensive compared to the industrial one... just buy random cst grade and mixed as you needed using this calculator...

I don't know where you could buy in your country, but in my country, I usually buy them from my local chemical supplies store... You could buy industrial grade silicone oils...
