That’s exactly what just happened to me. The lever went forward by its own, double loading. Tapped it back to remove one slug, didn’t come off. Couldn’t push them the other way around either, so then I tried to shoot them. Well, when I pressed the trigger, the first one didn’t move forward, instead, the rear one was fully penetrated by the slug probe, damaging the o-ring and letting a bit of air escape during each shot. Luckily these o-rings are cheap.
My fx maverick vp did not came with this seal, also it does not came with o rin on the middle of the transfer port and o rings inside the barrel too. Also it is hard to cock it, cycle is like rusted and it is stiff at the end of the cycle, not smooth in any king. I check and set timing with 2 set screws on the rod but it isnt hel a lot... Any word abouth that please?

You would need to call this guy or another dealer in the U.S.

I recommend contacting the dealer you purchased it from to discuss these issues, as they should be covered under warranty.
