We Were There - Legionnaires

On August 31, 2016, OADS offered the second in the “We Were There” lecture series. This event, “History, Mystery, and Discovery: 40 Years of Legionnaire’s Disease,” commemorated the 40th anniversary of the discovery and diagnosis of Legionnaire's with a presentation by Dr. David Fraser and Dr. Joseph McDade. They shared their unique perspectives from their time in Philadelphia, Harrisburg and Atlanta as they rushed to determine what could have caused the 1976 breakout. Dr. Fraser and Dr. McDade were then joined on stage by Dr. Isaac Benowitz, Dr. Laura A. Cooley, Claressa Lucas, PhD and Jasen Kunz for a question and answer segment.
