I’m a big fan of the B&O app and sound equaliser. I have the H9i’s and H8i’s. it took them nearly 2 years to iron out the bumps in their connectivity issues but now that they have, I have ordered the e8 and e6’s

From all the reviews I've seen and read, the 2.0 isn't worth the price difference anyway. I can just get buy the case separately if I want.

I dont think you can compare them with the galaxy buds, these are way superior to them, in almost all details,therefore their are clearly a rival to Sennheiser Momentum true wireless , master&dynamic..etc.

Today I have replaced my E8 by warranty and new headphones have the same issue. Can you please confirm this problem with E8 2.0 or this is just my bad luck?)

I also have the Beoplay E8 2.0 and I noticed a few things. It mostly affects classical music and piano. It affects only the right earphone of it. I would ask you to try that too. for example: Game of Thrones Soundtrack Season 6: "Light of the Seven For the first few seconds, the right earphone roars. not always but often it creaks in the Michael Jackson song "Superfly Sister" only in the first 10 seconds. Also many songs of Adele are iredwie rauschend represented ... again only the right earphones. My player is an iPhone X and the source is Apple Music.
Have you tried updating the software on the E8? I believe E8 2.0 has latest software update, making the lag better. According B&O, the earbuds are virtually unchanged.
My e8 2.0 EQ dont seem to work. After a couple of days listening to music on them and out of nowhere, they had some deep clean bass. They stayed that way until I opened my app EQ to see if it would work this time. When I opened the EQ, it made my e8 go back to the way they originally sounded out the box. I was trying to figure out how I could get that deep clean bass back. I'm waiting a couple of days again to see if it'll go back to it. I think I have a defective pair. Do you have these issues.

I have the 1.0 after my Bose got stolen. The B&O are completely useless for all-day use because you cannot do calls because the surrounding sound is louder than your own voice. 1.0 was a nice alpha version but extremely fail to sell them. So E8 are the worst headphones ever. So why didn't you test the microphone?
I was unboxing a fresh unit and testing on the spot, wouldnt make sense to test them in the studio because it’s sure to be great, being a quiet place. In my daily use afterwards I didnt have an issue with phone calls on it. Some people dont like transparency mode during calls but it didnt stop me from hearing myself and the other party on the line while being aware of my surroundings. Sorry to hear it didnt work out the way you preferred.
i bought the E8 last yr and still feel kinda ripped off. there’s something wrong with the charging case. battery drains off far too fast even when intact for 2-3 days. got it changed before but issue came back after 3 mths.. guessing maybe that’s y they have the 2.0... but it’s sb ganpua ex la knn...
something is wrong with my beoplay 2.0 or it really has weak bass because I use the equalizer and the difference is minimal or the app is not working,I am very disappointed with it and I will return it, the MTW sound is much better.
Senns have better sound quality, hear-thru and faster pairing. E8s are more comfortable and switch between devices better. They both have terrible mics though. Im coming from the airpods and I really wish the mic on either one of these was as good as the airpods
It’s basically a more premium ‘version’ of Galaxy Buds. One advantage it has over the buds is the app. There’s an app for both ios and android, and not just for android like the samsung. But the samsung has Bluetooth 5.0, these ones don’t.

Just FYI, B&O said both versions of E8 have the same earbuds, just a different case.

I use Pixel 4XL with E8 ver.1 and I do not have any lag in movies or YT at all. I bought it new for 70 pounds. ;)
APTX, Bluetooth 5.0 and multipoint/support for simultaneous connections are musts for me at this price point.

E8 version 1 have 0 lag at this day on android for me.
