When the river flooded there last year it caused a lot of damage to the low area’s, the insurance mobs have been deceptive and crooked in denying a lot of the claims.
    Peace be with you

So sad to see this, my mother trained there to be a nurse in the late 1950s, my sister was born there in 1961 and my younger brother passed away in there in 1974. It was a horrible day when it was on fire.

My twin sister Deidre and I were born in this hospital, in 1957! We had our tonsils out when we were 6 years old... I was back there in 1973 with Hep A - so sad to see it in such a dreadful state!

I noticed the abandoned “old world” building last month, such a magnificent building, it should be done up as Accomadation and hotel

The walls have survived structurally due to the small grid design, difficult layout to modernise into anything useful like a hotel. It's a rat maze. The facade could be kept but the the guts have to be ripped out and enlarged into open spaces

Such an absolute waste… is it still owned by the State Government?

Sold to a developer in the last 18 months, no word on what their plans are.
