So sad to see this, my mother trained there to be a nurse in the late 1950s, my sister was born there in 1961 and my younger brother passed away in there in 1974. It was a horrible day when it was on fire.
My twin sister Deidre and I were born in this hospital, in 1957! We had our tonsils out when we were 6 years old... I was back there in 1973 with Hep A - so sad to see it in such a dreadful state!
I noticed the abandoned “old world” building last month, such a magnificent building, it should be done up as Accomadation and hotel
The walls have survived structurally due to the small grid design, difficult layout to modernise into anything useful like a hotel. It's a rat maze. The facade could be kept but the the guts have to be ripped out and enlarged into open spaces

When the river flooded there last year it caused a lot of damage to the low area’s, the insurance mobs have been deceptive and crooked in denying a lot of the claims.
