Fabbri has made some great flat rides. I feel like that proposal was just slapped together to show what their coasters could do, with no intention of making that the actual layout. It was basically "we can do launches, vertical lifts, and inversions." Excellent video and awesome finds!
I only knew 3 of the concepts I had no idea arrow weren't the first company to come up with 4d coaster and that mack weren't the first company to make a thrill spinner great video
At some point around the mid to late 90s/early 2000s either Arrow or Vekoma had a concept for a coaster with trains that were 10 by 10 so 100 per dispatch to compete with B&M's 32-seat trains that were popping up
I love how some games like RCT3 and Planet Coaster included models like these, it’s interesting to look back at them. As a longtime RCT3 player I’ve definitely used the Thrill Lift element a lot, even more than the tilt track, but never thought about where it would have came from. I also heard of the tower coaster for the same reason.
Nice video! I miss the days when IAAPA was primarily used as a platform to unveil new coaster concepts like these; seems like manufacturers have been focused on making specific ride announcements instead over recent years. I had never heard of the Fabbri Speed Racer, the S&S Twisted Looper, or the Sledgehammer (which looks utterly terrifying btw)
@@cedarflags oh wow! Thanks so much man. Pretty sure you were one of my first supporters! I really respect UA-camrs like you who put out what seems to be a nonstop stream of quality videos, idk how you guys do it. Keep up the awesome work
Arrow had proposed an extreme version of a wild Mouse Coaster in the late 1990s called Arrow-Bat-Ic, maybe one variation a suspended wild Mouse, and another variation one with heartline rolls.
The only one I had heard of was the Virginia Reel revamp, and it was only in passing. ThemeParkCrazy mentioned it in his never-built-coasters video on the topic of the Arrow "Sky Surfer." As for the one with the elevator lift, I saw a rendition of it in Thrillville: Off The Rails and was like, "There's no way this exists in real life." Shows what I knew at the time...
I knew all these concepts before, but then again I love diggin into weird ride models and innovation. This video was very-well researched (Coasters andmore helped a lot I guess!), thank you.
I remember back in the late 90s maybe early 2000s, I saw a picture online of a new B&M concept (or the concept used the B&M track style) coaster called the Sidewinder where the seats faced outwards instead of forward and several of the turns were inside top hats....It was a picture....til this day, I cannot find that picture......
Wow, definitely an interesting list! I knew 4 of these: Giovanola Tilt Coaster, S&S Tilted Looper, Schwarzkopf Suspended, and SBF Extended Cool N Fresh I haven’t heard of the Vekoma Thrill Lift Coaster, but I assumed it was real since everything else in the game was at least a real concept.
Vekoma Thrill Lift Coaster was also in the game, Thrillville: Off The Rails. If you couldn’t tell by the title, the coasters in this game weren’t meant to be realistic or safe as they literally fly off the rails!!!
The moto coaster was built by flamingo land uk its called velocity I rode it and its fun. To be fair most people probably have not been to flamingo land but it has a couple of interesting rides
RCT3 had another cool one you go up a vertical lift it had forwards and backwards seats and you would turn the connect to another track then Drop I forgot the name of it
I knew like 70% or so of these, but a few new ones too. I saw a cool top spin/Sky Fly hybrid flat ride appear in my memories from a few IAPPA’s ago…as well as laughing at the fact that RMC was offering a discount Raptor at IAPPA 2019 to open in 2021-wonder where that went
You Know what? It feels like They should rename the park to California's Great Coastline or California's Great Coastal line instead of California's Great America. because Cedar Fair is making the park more of an California themed amusement park instead of an across America themed amusement park.
I hate the 4d coasters..Like Batman at fiesta and Joker at over tx.Also to add to my list the boring Boomerangs and super loopers..not forgetting about you also Batman Clones...🤬🤬🤬 lol...Great Video Man...KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK..live for theese videos..👏
I knew about the Fabbri Speed racer, the Terror Tilter, The S&S Tilted Looper, the Schwarzkopf Suspended looper (only cuz of the train), and the Arrow Virginia Reel
The other issue with the Arrow Virginia Reel according to the behind-the-scenes videos of the ACE Arrow Documentary was the fact that they couldn't get the tubs to park properly in the station, and maintain their high standards for capacity. In essence from what I gather is, the coaster's tubs would manually need to be spun so that riders could unload and load. It would take so long to do this, that three train operations (which is something the major parks of the day wanted) would be virtually impossible.
Revelation 8:7-9 says: "The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth, and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up. And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea and the third part of the sea became blood and the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, had life, died, and the third part of the ships were destroyed." We are living in the end times. Anyone who does not believe in God. We are seeing prophecy being fulfilled before our eyes. Proverbs 3:5-6 says: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Lean not unto your own understanding, in all thy ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths." The only way into Heaven is by believing in Jesus. Believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is your Lord and your Savior. Romans 10:9-10 says: "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus. And believe in your heart that God raised Him(Jesus) from the dead. You shall be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness. And with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:13 says: "All who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." John 3:16 says: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son. That whosoever believeth on Him shall not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:36 says: " He who believes in the Son shall see everlasting life. He who believeth not in the son shall not see everlasting life, but the wrath of God abides in him." Ask Jesus into your life. Cleanse you from all unrighteousness. Make him your Lord and your Savior. One day you will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Please pray this prayer. "JESUS. I BELIEVE IN MY HEART THAT YOU DIED ON THE CROSS. I BELIEVE THAT GOD RAISED YOU FROM THE DEAD. COME INTO MY LIFE. CLEANSE ME FROM ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS. I MAKE YOU MY LORD AND MY SAVIOR. IN JESUS NAME. AMEN." Thank you so much!
Hi
that heartline roll would be deadly lol
That Japanese 4D Coaster would’ve been awesome shame no videos of it exist
I only knew 3 of the concepts I had no idea arrow weren't the first company to come up with 4d coaster and that mack weren't the first company to make a thrill spinner great video
Wow I thought that X2 was the 4st 4D flying coaster.
At some point around the mid to late 90s/early 2000s either Arrow or Vekoma had a concept for a coaster with trains that were 10 by 10 so 100 per dispatch to compete with B&M's 32-seat trains that were popping up
You could have put Arrows suspended dive coaster here. It looks super cool and its such a shame it never happened...
I love how some games like RCT3 and Planet Coaster included models like these, it’s interesting to look back at them. As a longtime RCT3 player I’ve definitely used the Thrill Lift element a lot, even more than the tilt track, but never thought about where it would have came from. There was a patent for an Inverted Wooden Coaster. I heard of it on Theme Park Crazy I think.

I had never heard of the Fabbri Speed Racer, the S&S Twisted Looper, or the Sledgehammer (which looks utterly terrifying btw)
Thanks man! Dude I freaking love the few videos you’ve made. You’re honestly one of my fav UA-camrs

@jnattyboi congrats on 1k subs u should do a different coaster types that inspired the coasters in planet coaster
that 1st coaster was fabbri trying to find something to do with maverick's heartline roll they found
That S&S Twisted 4D Coaster would’ve looked so cool
Imagine that monstrosity at the front of a park instead of a Ferris wheel
I think the fabri coaster was just showing what the could do with it. I highly doubt they would make a launch straight into a break.
Arrow had proposed an extreme version of a wild Mouse Coaster in the late 1990s called Arrow-Bat-Ic, maybe one variation a suspended wild Mouse, and another variation one with heartline rolls.
Sounds painful. I hate Wild Mouse coasters.
The Wild Mouse model in RCT3 includes barrel rolls, so maybe they had some basis from that
The only one I had heard of was the Virginia Reel revamp, and it was only in passing. ThemeParkCrazy mentioned it in his never-built-coasters video on the topic of the Arrow "Sky Surfer." That loop looked aweful
The animation for the s&s tilted looper does not have a 4th dimension. They don’t tilt and are more akin to a wing coaster.
The Sledgehammer looks amazing. 😍 I'd ride it.
Dang this must've taken a ton of research to put together! Great video!!
I already knew about the Giovinova Terror Tilt, Vekoma Thrill Lift, Schwarzkopf suspended coaster, and the Arrow Virginia Reel before watching this.
The wooden inverted coaster is also a brilliant fail.
Man. I only knew of 3 of these. The S&S wing coaster thing, the Schwarzkopf suspended coaster, and the Schafer motorbike coaster
This is one of my favorite videos from you! I love seeing never built rides that could’ve potentially been record breakers
I really wanna see more unique flat rides like we used to see in the 20s at Coney Island in NY
I knew all these concepts before, but then again I love diggin into weird ride models and innovation. This video was very-well researched (Coasters andmore helped a lot I guess!), thank you.
you forgot about the X-car Driffting variant
Is that what the drifting coaster in RCT3 was based on?
Great job, most of these were new to me, especially the Speed Racer and the Schwarzkopf ones
These were super cool!! Honestly it’s inspired me to think about something to do with forgotten models in the trackie world :0
We all know bout the 4d free spins but we all forgot about the 4d free fly. It was pretty much axis but with wing seats
I watch quite a few videos like this, and was familiar with two, and had heard about SBF concept, but not to this detail. Great video.
Which one I'd love to see come to fruition? The Schwarzkopf suspended coaster.
Why?
Because Schwarzkopf.
Wow, I only knew 2 of these! Great work!
I really like this idea!
Wow, definitely an interesting list! I knew 4 of these:
Giovanola Tilt Coaster, S&S Tilted Looper, Schwarzkopf Suspended, and SBF Extended Cool N Fresh
I haven’t heard of the Vekoma Thrill Lift Coaster, but I assumed it was real since everything else in the game was at least a real concept.
Vekoma Thrill Lift Coaster was also in the game, Thrillville: Off The Rails. If you couldn’t tell by the title, the coasters in this game weren’t meant to be realistic or safe as they literally fly off the rails!!!
I couldnt imagine a spinning coaster with arrow transitions surprising that it didnt have over the shoulder restraints.
Kinda surprised the All-In-One didn’t make the list
You did a great job finding ones that most people don't talk about! I only know 2 of them; Giovanola Terror Tilter and S&S Twisted Looper.
I knew 4 of the concepts from Theme Parks Crazy Videos
I hardly knew any of these, so you did well! Very interesting!
I have only heard of the Giovanola Tilt Coaster before this, and (I think) it was mentioned in a video about the history of the Tilt Coaster.
A elevated floorless dive coaster with just a lap bar be great
The moto coaster was built by flamingo land uk its called velocity I rode it and its fun. To be fair most people probably have not been to flamingo land but it has a couple of interesting rides
RCT3 had another cool one you go up a vertical lift it had forwards and backwards seats and you would turn the connect to another track then Drop I forgot the name of it
Great topic and solid choices. Hop in the way back machine and check out Pinfari's "Breathless" model.
Thanks for a great vid
Cool vid. Only knew of the lift one because of rtc3 lol
I wish these roller coasters could have been built!
I knew about 3 or 4 but if SVF worked and redesigning that model, they might be able to get some built.
I only didn't know about the mauer spinning x-car
great vid
I knew like 70% or so of these, but a few new ones too. I saw a cool top spin/Sky Fly hybrid flat ride appear in my memories from a few IAPPA’s ago…as well as laughing at the fact that RMC was offering a discount Raptor at IAPPA 2019 to open in 2021-wonder where that went
That was Kentucky Kingdom's planned Raptor, which went to Silverwood as Stunt Pilot.
Can you do a video like top 10 most unexpected moments of airtime like that would be cool
me when I find out i accidently created a knock off of that free spinning 4d coaster
Sounds fun. I'll hafta look at this later

I knew 5 out of the 10
The first one is literally the one ride I remembered existed but forgot the name about, I've been looking for ages...
It’s so weird
I knew about the Fabbri Speed racer, the Terror Tilter, The S&S Tilted Looper, the Schwarzkopf Suspended looper (only cuz of the train), and the Arrow Virginia Reel
Last one was the only one I’ve heard of
I want to see an inverted woodie
So for the Motocoaster, Vekoma have a pair that reach 63 mph, which are the Tron Coasters.
Virginia Reels lasted until the early 80s
The biggest mistake was theming tmnt shellraiser to tmnt. And not to FIREY FIST O' PAIN
Good video.
I don't think the Fabbri one would have worked.
Congrats I only knew 1 of these coasters. Great research
I only knew of one of these unless you count the model from RCT 3 but I don’t count it since I didn’t know it was an actual concept.

Wood inverted coaster by Gordon rides?
Theme park crazy mentioned that in his video so I avoided it!
@@cedarflags Ah I see! Good lineup anyway
