I bought Sauvage shower gel and it’s actually pretty strong. I just use that as a base since it lingers a lot lol. Also might try Sauvage+afternoon swim. Seems like it would be like orange sanguine
I layered Sauvage EDT with an Aventus Clone (Rebel by Pete & Pedro). It’s amazing. I call it Saventus (even tho Rebel is not Aventus but way closer unlike Montblanc) 😂😂😂 it does work well with the EDP too, but I think it’s better with the EDT.
Fun video. Artisan teal and whispers in a library I’m most intrigued to try. Sauvage has a lot of good qualities for layerings -Helps with overall projection/longevity -Scent profile goes well with wide range of scents -doesn’t have many harsh notes that can ruin a composition
I first bought the Parfum, gave it to my son. Then I bought the EDP, giving that away too. Both too metallic smelling as is the EDT. The Elixir is a beautiful fragrance though.
Yeah the elixir is a new DNA compared to the originals. Try spraying Sauvage under with elixir on top. It might balance out that metallic smell for you. It’s a nice combo. They are meant to compliment each other :)
@@SoCalScents Personally, I don't want to ruin the Elixir scent my mixing it with the EDP. If I keep the EDP, I'll maybe layer it with other fragrances though.
Hi Jeff, you may recall a few days ago I asked you for recommendation to layer with PDM's Carlisle. Anyway, just for the hell of it l tried Sauvage EDP, crazy combo I thought 😂. But guess what? 1:2 ratio Sauvage/Carlisle, total transformation, my wife can't get enough of it. Two compliments from total strangers also.😮
Never tried it. Experiment with it! It’ll be good to find something to layer Gio with as it’s not wearable by itself anymore because everyone in the world has worn it in the last 25 years 😂

You need to try both! I’ve been layering it with artisan teal the last few days and it’s magic. It’s my scent of the day again 🙌
Dior homme 2020 layers great with Sauvage, and Dior homme sport 2021 also layer well with it

Sauvage on first. Ultramale right on top. I do front of neck, back of neck. And then each arm.

I’ve tried Carbon and Ultra Male and it works the same. Haven’t tried Carbon with the others though. So you won’t know until you try it :)

And bleu de chanel is in the do not buy for 2023 list too! It's been even more worn than Sauvage as it's been out 7 years longer.
