something that might be helpful is that some people post their custom designs in the grid format, allowing others to recreate them without having nintendo online! i’d recommend looking at like twitter, pinterest, and maybe even tumblr for some of those!

You can delete your saved data and start over to create a new island which will allows you to save a new dream address. Otherwise you do need multiple switches.
I have a cottagecore island with LOTS of trees on cliffs and in small areas and I have some mushroom and log paths down, but as for items and stuff, I’m not exactly sure what to do. I have my cliffs decorated for the most part, but no path designs on them lol I just got my island to 5 stars, but I’m still not done decorating imo.
