Also these kinds of items are usually designed as brand statement pieces which are designed to draw attention to the brand’s other more commercialized pieces. Though these pieces are usually exceptionally well made, the fact it damaged on the first use is shows the brand doesn’t seem take quality seriously and just wants attention to make money. Disappointing really

Unless those boots came with instructions not to walk in them, then you should see how hard it is to get a replacement or a refund. Some people might buy these so they can wear them, and then they start to come apart at the seams! Not good enough for shoes over $2000.

Mia, we all know you’re like the nicest person ever (and love you for it!) and never complain but please contact the company that made the shoes, I don’t care how unusual they are, no shoe should be falling apart after couple of hours of wear, especially with that price tag!

The least they could've done is explicitly stating that these shoes were meant for photoshoots only. "Be very careful with them" doesn't mean they can't be worn outside. For this amount of money, people would expect them to last for more than a couple of hours even if they're not meant to be everyday shoes.
It’s because they are conceptual pieces, not intended for wear. They were still being Beta tested when she ordered them, hence the price and how long they took to get to her. Basically a prototype of the designer’s idea.

I love Mia's eyeliner too; she doesn't over do her makeup. I've complimented total strangers before and it's so cool. Sometimes they are completely stunned, and other times thankful. They aren't not expecting a compliment from a stranger but you can tell, it makes them happy.

Even if the boots are mainly for “show” there is no excuse for a boot being that poorly made, especially for how much money they were.

@@corissadenna124 Imo the design of the boots isn't great. For how much they cost, for them to start breaking at the seam after a little bit of walking is ridiculous. Where the boot transitions to the hard creepy feet fingers could have been done better. I hope the brand sees Mia video and sends her a new pair of boots 😆.

I literally never tell anyone that I have them because of embarrassment even though they cause me immense pain - so honestly well done for getting through the day in those shoes! I would however be contacting the company about the $2000 green boots. I'm shocked over the material used to make this boot. It looks like cheap plastic rather, then quality leather. It definitely should not be coming apart at the toe 30 min wearing them !

I don't know about in the States but here in Australia it would be illegal to drive in shoes like that...it would be recommended to drive in flats and then switch out upon exiting the vehicle...as you found Mia they were rather hard to control the predals through with having so much of the shoe above the pedal...

Okay, I get that these shoes are mostly for show... but they are still shoes. You should be able to walk in them without them breaking. Were they never tested for walking? Or did they specify these are only show pieces when they sold them? Because this could otherwise be a huge deal for the company, you should tell them there are major problems with the items and if they're planning on a bigger release, they should get that fixed for sure.

Unfortunately she got them on Etsy so I'm not sure if the individuals who created them would do anything for her. 🤔🤷♀️😉 It took her 6 months I believe, to receive them when originally it was only supposed to be 2 months at the most.
