@@toddb930 yes I believe his ear was damaged when he was younger before he came to SAF. They were able to save the ear but it will never be normal unfortunately.

Not just fur farms, but trapping wild animals is apparently still legal. Leghold traps are still legal in Texas and trappers will trap anything from ringtails to coyotes. Mind you, these traps are indiscriminate in what they target, so cats, dogs, and even humans can get caught in the traps.
Getting an old law changed is more challenging than one might think. First, you must find someone in the legislature to sponsor and write the bill, then introduce it, and then both sides will argue. Most senators and congressmen (and women) would not want to sponsor this as it makes them very unpopular, and they might not be able to be re-elected. It is a tricky process. It's not easy, and it takes a long time. I'm not saying that it should not be done. Yes, traps and fur farms need to go. But it is hard. And you make enemies very quickly.
So beautiful. It makes me feel good to know that humans are starting to see how much more beautiful wildlife is walking around instead of being made into a coat ❤. Thank you for taking such good care of them

The worry about the foxes getting along reminds me of the video about Pan, Sophie, Jagger, Luka, Jack, and Valentine accidentally getting out at the same time and all loving to play together.with the occasional grumpies between Luka and Jagger. I wish all the foxes could bond like that.

I've just realized I react to the sound of treat packets, too. It fascinates me that these foxes have been through so much, they're in totally unfamiliar surroundings, with a world full of all this weird human stuff as well, and they adapt so fast.

Hello, I really like and adore what you do for the foxes and all the animals you have saved and the way you take care of them and the immense sincere love you have for them which warms my heart and makes me good almost every day when I watch your videos which are like a bath of youth for me. Unfortunately I live in France, a country of hunters that I hate because I don't understand the pleasure that can be found in killing innocent animals and moreover here foxes are considered and classified as harmful and every year 500,000 foxes are killed by hunters in France, a real massacre. I find them wonderful, fascinating, mischievous and intelligent animals and even if it takes a lot of time and energy to take care of them, they are good for you and yours. life is therefore rich in an enormous amount of unconditional love of which only animals and a few very rare humans are capable.
