I can hear Soup Timmy's voice in my head going "no, oh no, oh no" like when one of his big cubes was about to pop on camera! That's awful you sprang a leak at your mop sink! 😅
Some peope just aren't happy unless they are complaining. Your shop is great. All of my orders have shipped super fast. I did have a cube that was kinda janky, but i realize you did not make the cube. Like you said, a dusty factory in China. I've worked in factories here in the US, I know how they do things. So I have no complaints on you guys about anything. Keep up the great work. I love your passion and dedication to your shop. I'm addicted to cubes and puzzles now so I'll definitely be ordering again.
I second this. I have nearly 300 points saved from SCS and they are my first go to. I had an issue with a delayed shipment once when they added the warehouse in Canada but they sorted it all out and the customer service is top notch. Never had any issue working with this company. Love speed cube shop.

Regarding the clock stuff:
It's not only the convenience thing, but also solved some inconsistency that was there before.
Before the new pin regulation the pins were part of the puzzle state in a scrambled state, but in the solved state it wasn't part of the puzzle state. Now it's consistently the case that pins are not part of the Scramble.
Additionally the wr dropping so much in the recent months is less due to the fact that moving pins is allowed now and more just because the clock community has been growing and more people get good at 7sim.

Unfortunately, having an extra solve does throw the math off. You would hope that everyone would be doing the same scrambles...😊
Same scrambles could actually be a better way to remedy 3x3 finals at comps rather than ao12 which has been talked about. Head to head with same scrambles would make it more fair as a genuine competition but keep it fast for spectators

this is my first episode of this show so you may have covered it already but id like to hear your thoughts on cube hardware, more specifically in 3x3s cause for me personally i dont know where companies go from here and i dont think they know either. making faster cubes would be pointless since the fastest cubes out there right now turn faster than any human possibly could (maybe im wrong about that but auto aligning feels like a pretty hard wall for speed), adding more magnets rarely does anything, i think edge/corner to core magnets and maglev have been the only innovations that have been useful lately in terms of magnets. i really like uv coating, its just more consistent and i like the added grip so maybe surface finishes are worth working on? but really where do 3x3s go from here?
ill just add that i think cubing companies know theyve hit a wall cause solved issues are being "fixed" like the center caps on the gan 14 pro. correct me if im wrong but i dont think center caps coming off mid solve has been an issue for a very long time
I get it that a lot of people think wca should get rid of clock because it's not a twisty puzzle, and is the only event that isn't.
But why not base it on popularity, number of competitors in each event?
Clock literally has more competitors than 7 other wca events: 6x6, 7x7, 3bld, fmc, mbld, 4bld, 5bld, all have fewer competitors than clock. That's not speculative or exaggeration, that's based on actual number of competitors in the wca database export.

yiheng is still a kid... it's not that easy to stand your ground and ask for something. Heck, even adults nowadays have a hard time saying no. I think people need to realize this - he is still a kid.
That’s a great point that I wish I had mentioned. He’s so accomplished, it’s hard to remember how young he is!

personally in the yiheng case i would've panicked done the solve and hes younger while being fully aware he was on wr pace either way i think its wrong to antagonize a 10 year old
