Just speak with the local alumni chapter in your city.
I know this comment was a year ago and just in case you're still looking for answers... don't just reach out to your local graduate chapter. Research your local grad chapter(s) and check out their socials and sites to see when they are having public events and attend. Get to genuinely know the members...introduce yourself and help serve, they know you're interested. If directly asked by one of the chapter members about your interest be truthful, no need to be shy. Of course keep doing whatever community service you're doing as well. Good luck!
