All I end up taking away from these movies is that no one can even come close to replicating the glorious beards of the Beach Boys.

Bruce Greenwood, played Captain Pike in Star Trek '09. He was in The Bikini Shop around the same time as this movie. He's been in a few Atom Egoyan movies.
And Al doesn’t even have any lines in this biopic.

I have been a huge fan for decades, and have the whole released catalog and more, have been to dozens of concerts, made a website about them, but I still have yet to sit through this entire movie. I don't know if I could stomach it.

MasterMan Dennis Wilson could have been another Jim Morrision, because Dennis wilson was a Superb Underrated musician, I loved his solo album Pacific Ocean blue.

Bruce Greenwood who starred in Shows like St.Elsewhere and knots landing protrays Dennis Wilson Superbly and never heard rest of the actor in this film.
I hate it when one brother takes advantage of the weaker one. It's sad. It just goes to show how low he had sunk. He's willing to jeopardize his brothers over all well being and health for whatever reason. I don't know whether he did that to secure a future fix or because he was just jealous but if he did this in real life then he was the devil 👿
Dennis was dealing with his own personal addictions at the time, haven't you ever heard the saying misery loves company? Wouldn't call him the devil for that, just troubled and lonely. Also, Brian was checked out for a good while, maybe he just missed his brother

Well I mean where as love and mercy is focused on brian this movie and an American family is focused on the whole band. To be honest I prefer American family bc of the awful vocal dubbing

Love & Mercy has nothing against it. No other film has shown the true nature of Brian like it. A well crafted masterpiece in the tv mini series genre
