- Pauline Hanson (left) has challenged anyone to give an example of her saying something racist. She told the senate on Wednesday 'you can't even look sideways at anyone' without being called racist, and she claimed being called 'white trash' is an example of herself being victim to 'reverse racism'. The leader of One Nation has again called on Australia to ban Muslim migration. (Ms Hanson is pictured right 'praying' for a Muslim ban).

The Parliament should have listened to Pauline then. We would have avoided inviting the trouble into our country now. Australia needs to seriously consider Australia’s safety. That’s more important than anything else.

@Tom teeriff Nash she mentioned a different way of life. Not race or religion. By that very logic she wouldnt want ANY other country to immigrate to Australia due to their "way of life".

Australia is equal & safe but not if other people are going to come here & cause trouble. The PM decided that HE WANTS TO GROW A BIG AUSTRALIA!! What he didn't do was to ask Australians here working & paying Taxes if WE want a big Australia!! He is displacing Australian Citizens in favour of either wealthy Migrants or he gives priority to Migrants who do not enhance Australia & who we Taxpayers end up so often having to support on Welfare. Charity begins at home & we need to look after our own first. Many Australians cannot even now find a place to rent because Albanese has given priority to Migrants first!! What a joke!! He needs to stand down & the Immigration Minister along with him. We can have Immigration but we need to be very discerning as just who we allow here. We have just recently released Criminals from detention ( No thanks to the High Court.). Now we have Murderers, Peadophiles, Rapists out in Society who the Taxpayers are having to pay for not only to house but but to have to monitor them!! Many of these Criminals need to be identified & sent back to their Country of Origin & never be allowed to return to this Country ever again!! This is what we don't want here. We have people here that we have to oversee & to pay for. This Government is nothing but self-entitled & arrogant. I really believe that we people here have all had enough!!

I would like to,say that I personally are a child of two immigrants to this country. Half Austrian half Scottish. When my father who came here he had school English and a very strong German accent. It was after the Second World War and people feared Germans. He struggled to be accepted, but was determined to embrace Australian culture. Over the years he lost the accent but never his love for his home country. So he together with other Austrian settlers formed the Austrian club Melbourne. A place where he could freely speak with others in his own language. Where he could listen to music in his own language. Dance and celebrate his own culture. He even got us his children to become part of that culture and all the kids created the Austrian edelweiss Dancegroup who travelled austrailia performing public ally on stage for the enjoyment of other Australian. However now my point. Even though we were raised amongst other Austrian children, meeting two or three times a week at the club, we didn’t start schools here to focus only on German learning, we don’t walk around in full German costume every day for all to see. No instead, we go to Aussie schools, dress like aussies, and embrace the culture of this great country. No one is saying you have to give up your culture, but if you truly are wanting a better life here, then allow you children to attend our schools. Don’t create schools with only Muslim teaching, wear your national costume but if you don’t want to become the target, don’t go looking to be one. Why can’t you say, yes I’m Muslim, but now I’m Australian, so I will blend in. I did, my father did, and the anti nazi taunts, slowly subsided and we were accepted.
ok.. if your are referring to the hijab or burka as “cultural clothes” then you are wrong. they are RELIGIOUS clothes, there is a huge difference. You telling us to assimilate in this country and pretty much strip us from our religious identity doesn’t sound very Australian to me. it sounds pretty backwards actually. I go to a Muslim school and let me tell you it’s the best decision my parents ever did. The culture and the environment is something you will never get from public schools and it allows us to freely practice our religion. You can be Australian while also wearing what you want including the HIJAB. So no. We are not gonna change just because you think it’s not “Australian” enough. It’s actually pretty disgusting that you think that honestly.
It's not Australian. If you come here you respect Australian rules & regulations. We don't want a divisive Society based on Middle Eastern ideology. It is not a right of passage to come here & unless people respect our rules & laws, don't come here. I also think that our Government needs to insist that people coming here need to speak English. After all English is an International Language! Don't come here & try to bend our rules to suit yourselves. You have a choice. You don't like it with the rules here. You don't have to stay.
As an Australian, I sincerely apologize to the Muslim community for the words of this sad excuse of a human. I find Muslims to be very interesting people and think that Australia has evolved into a national for everyone.

When European's arrived in Australia, we worked extremely hard and built-up the Country, from nothing, from the ground up to where it is today, and there was very little trouble (you know the type). Ask any elderly person, they will tell you the Aussie/European combination worked best. Now, look at any Western country today and look at the difference!
