The hate is so real! Instead of commenting on how great these young ladies execute movements, their precision, rhythm and timing, people are concerned about the length of their uniforms. I applaud them. I wish we had more teams like this in Texas.

Cheerleaders have been wearing tiny skirts for decades so it is what it is with that. HOWEVER, the young lady in the back on the left, her uniform is a tad tiny.

I love this Team. I’ve been following them for a while now. They’re so clean and precise. I love this style of cheer. It’s so much more energetic than what I did back in hs in the 80’s. I respect them so much.

I’m a cheerleader going to 8th grade in a few months and I already know that I and going to this college. They are amazing cheerleaders and they use AMAZING technique. My cheer coach doesn’t really believe I can show leadership and call cheers, she didn’t even give me a chance, but I will get a lot of chances here.

OK everyone has commented on the imp stuff and I agree that these girls are absolutely wonderful. Let me just go another step I am a black woman with a black daughter. I am not knocking weaves but it is soooooo nice to show my daughter beautiful talented girls with their own permed or natural hair. Weaves are ok but this is just so very refreshing to see.

WSSU was my original choice. I applied around Feb-Mar of 1989. Never heard back so I ended up at my 2nd choice NCCU. During the 2nd semester of my freshman year I finally receive an acceptance letter. Guess it wasn't part of God's plan. But I was pissed. Cuz I was now settled and wasn't transferring. Maybe a disgruntle worker kicked it under the desk and they didn't find it until then. LOL

I like the cheering but I couldn't really focus on their cheers too much because I kept thinking some of those girls dresses are way to short. And before anyone says anything I cheered my whole life and coach cheer now so I know what uniforms are suppose to be like. But nonetheless they had fire.

Even tho I am concerned for the uniforms AND YES I am aware that they are short and YES I am aware that they are all most likely wearing shorts underneath because they are required to do so (I would know since im a cheerleader myself even if I'm a beginner in a way) they did a very good job as a team :)
