gostei... você colocou as 3 principais cenas que transmitem exatamente o que agente passa sem precisar de muita frescura. amei esse filme.. apesar do final clichê. mas faz parte do cinema rs' grande atuação do Richard Gere, subiu meu conceito. ^^

I haven't seen the movie, but I want to. I have watched a couple clips and this clip and seemingly the movie do not portray a typical manic, or hypomanic episode. Everyone is different, so everyone's Bipolar is different, btw manic depressive isn't a disorder it isn't in a DSM. Your heading should be Bipolar disorder, some call it manic depressive. In my meetings I have never heard one person say hi I'm such and such I have manic depression. So this episode Gere experiences is a once in a lifetime episode. It could only be full mania therefore a Bipolar type I diagnosis. You ask how can I say this with certainty...I have type I and I have many friends with Bipolar, so I can say with experience, this isn't what happens normally, if ever with someone with Bipolar. This would be at the very top percentage of full mania.
