First Time to Lake West Point - Tackle Warehouse Invitationals Day 1

- The days leading up to this event have been some of the most trying times in my fishing career.
Seven days before this event began, I found out my 44-year-old sister (Kimberly Greer) unexpectedly passed away in her sleep. She leaves behind 11 children, of which 7 of them are still living at home between the ages of 4 and 16. After attending the funeral on Saturday, I drove all night to get back to Alabama, pack up the camper, and drive to Georgia (West Point Lake) on Sunday. Practice began Monday, and that evening I started getting very ill with flu-like (Covid-like) symptoms. I dealt with high fevers, shivers, and misery leading into Day 1 of this event. I really wasn't sure how it was going to play out.

Sorry for your family’s loss.. was glad to see ya had some casting reels on deck .. watched MLF yesterday for a boring 10 minutes .. Wheeler had 10 rods on deck all spinning.. turned it off..good luck
