I bought the AC Tone in Cashconverters for £21.99 Love it! Actually using it for bass because I'm not really much of a guitar player, works like a SansAmp for a lot less money!
I use the American as a slightly OD clean sound for recording also through a Moore Radar sim direct to DAW. Some advice concerning your guitars. I believe your intonation is way out and the tuning itself was pretty bad on both.

ugh, tele tuning! Have you tried using Babicz saddles on your Tele before? I absolutely adore using Babicz on anything I didn't throw a Floyd Rose or a Schaller on.
Interesting but CONFUSING dry? Pedal? Amp? Amp & Pedal? I labeled it all but there didn't seem to be a sequence that I could latch onto. The words and ideas a cool though. I don't have the American - the Behringer GTone covers that well enough. I do have the ACTONE though and use it rather like you - I really don't care for the overdriven sounds much so go for it as clean as I can & use the voice for colour. It's a bargain - almost as good for cleans as the BDI21 is for DI'd bass.

were You using any of noise reduction device to eliminate the hiss from ACTONE ?
Is the Oxford any good? I have the Joyo American and really like it and would be open to buying a few more of these.

I did look at the video. I think it's probably a pass and that I'd be better off with an orange amp.
I have the Oxford. It is clean punchy and can scream. Use with American as they both have something to offer. The American is warmer
