Hello, I bought Ugoos am8 pro today. This remote control came out. Does it have air mouse function? I couldn't pair it.
I want to use this to play Dolby Vision Profile 7 Lossless audio rips of 4K discs. On external storage do I format as exFAT or NTFS?
On first inspection it looks to have all the ingredients to perform well, but sadly, once you delve a little deeper it seems to be a bit of a let down really. Streaming options limited to SD in some cases is not going to encourage me to part with my cash either.
UGOOS boxes are the best i have the UT8 PRO excellent box. Status bar is very important to me 😊

DDR4 is great but do these boxes need anything more than 4Gb for TV/Movie streaming ? Also micro SD only up to 32Gb ? Not to mention the crazy price !

Thanks for review, maybe is a very good box but is not useful for simple user for everyday streaming, I can't pay more than $200 and don't have Netflix with good quality

Do you think android tv boxes are still interesting in 2024?
I feel like smart TVs are enough for multimedia purposes now.
For gaming I prefer single board computer, I know sbc is not for everyone but it is more interesting in terms of performance and choice of operating system.

For this price just buy a chromebook. The processer will blow these android boxes away. Just doublecheck the gpu to make sure it is adequate

This box is not your typical streaming box. It's more like an Android computer, that's why it has a desktop layout. Hook up your keyboard and mouse, it's also rooted for advanced users. But I think it's a good idea to offer an Android TV alternative with similar specs for those who want that entertainment streaming box feel.
