What is GDPR? (English captions burnt in)

This animated video is designed to be shown to research participants before they sign a GDPR form, allowing them to give informed consent to take part in medical research.
It was created by the MRC Clinical Trials Unit at UCL, Penta and the Health Research Authority, with help from the Chiva Youth Committee and Penta Youth Trials Boards in Uganda, Zimbabwe, South Africa and the UK.
While created with children in mind, research staff are welcome to use this animation to inform study participants of any age, taking part in a range of future studies across different disease areas.
