It sucks that Shannen was off the show after season 3, but we can’t deny that Prue’s death did wonders for Piper’s character development with grief for Prue but then needing to step up as the big sister/leader of the Charmed Ones. Along with her new dynamic with Paige.

It's sad that now I realize the reason why Prue and Phoebe distanced from each other was because maybe Roger tried to sexually assault Phoebe or did a "move" with her and Prue find out, but Roger used the "she tried to seduce me" card and didn't believe Phoebe, and that's why she moved to NYC.

This is something that actually bothered me. First of all, Roger was only in the pilot and we never hear about him again. If Prue was actually going to marry him, why wasn’t he more important? Seems like Prue only thought marrying him was a good idea considering they worked together all the time and he was convenient. So glad Prue was too smart to go thru with it and dumped him instead. But what I don’t understand is why Prue would believe Phoebe came on to him? Phoebe may be a little slutty (they never actually call her that) but it seems like Prue scapegoats and blames Phoebe for things that are not her fault. Roger trying to play Prue & Phoebe against eachother was probably what convinced Prue to dump him. Still don’t like how unfair Prue can be to Phoebe. My theory is Prue resents Phoebe for not growing up with the same emotional trauma she did. Mom died, Dad bailed. Phoebe doesn’t even remember what it was like to have a mom & dad, Prue and Piper were Phoebe’s mom & dad. Just wish Prue got therapy before she died. 😢

Spending more time on Roger's character could've shed some more light on that conflict and might've resolved it in a meaningful and organic way...
@@samsampleman2439 Roger was never really the problem in Prue and Phoebe’s rship we clearly saw that in other episodes, their conflict was about way more significant underlying issues than this guy, he was just a pr*ck that exacerbated the issue. And the show explained it pretty well how things went down without bludgeoning us to death with excessive self evident detail, I can’t imagine wanting more screen time for this guy, I could barely deal with the tedious endless Piper Leo Dan love triangle, and Dan was a decent guy.
They mention Roger in that one episode and that’s when we see the drift in Phoebe and Prue. So assuming more went down so by the time the pilot came up. Prue would of been done

Piper is my favorite Halliwell member because she always does everything she can to bring peace between Phoebe and Prue.

I love Piper, but Phoebe really grew on me as a character throughout the series.
She was the mediator and had no problem telling Phoebe when she was wrong or telling Prue when she was wrong
