Very Informative. I am a Cameroonian and I just got admission to study a Masters in Applied Computer Science at VUB. My school does not require me to legalize my certificates. Pleasse I would like to know if the Embassy will require me to still legalize my certificates. Thanks
Yeah it’s a must to legalize your documents before you apply for a visa. By the way would you mind sharing the documents you submitted for the application in VUB please? I want to apply for the same course this coming year. Thanks as you do!
hello Flavine, kinda late in finding your channel, but thank you for the informative video. I wanted to ask you tho, what if my sponsor is my cousin and he is a Belgian citizen, is the process complicated or is it ok? also, what kind of proof would they require?
Hi Flavine Thanks for these highly informative and timely videos. Is there like a form for the sponsor to fill or list of requirements to meet before being eligible? I mean like, if there’s a form, can we have it like pdf or word to print out?
Hi, just a quick question. Let's say if I'm in France or Belgium for studies, BSc or Master's,what if after my studies I don't want to come back to my home country, I want to stay there even when my Student visa has expired and maybe my Resident permit has also expired. What will I do???
Hi dear. In Belgium, you have one year to stay after your studies to look for a job. If you can get a company to stand and say they want to make you a permanent employee then you won’t need to go back. But it’s not always easy to get such jobs that was to keep u permanently. So students just always apply for another program to be on a safe side. I can’t talk much about France
Hey my uncle is netherland national and his sponsor(annex32) have been accepted and legalized as well from Belgium embassy there. So I think 1,2 or 3rd degree relative is necessary for those who are not Belgium national and EU countries. Correct me if I'm wrong
But what of me now that is going as a student and I decide to use blocked account method, will I need to get a proof of how I got the money? Like a bank statement of my sponsor ? And does blocked account method go through all this stress or all the embassy wants to see us just the certificate and Finish.
You only need one. Either block account or get a sponsor. You don’t need 2 at once. With block account, you pay the money into the school and that’s it. They don’t want to know where the money is coming from. The money will stay in the school and they will be giving u back bit by bit every month
Hi Flavin I've been following your videos since I decided to come to Belgium... For my sponsor, he's my cousin based in US with permanent resident ... Plsss is it accepted?? If not can I tell the embassy that he is my brother, or they will carry out further investigation.
Truth is, it’s better to get an affidavit from someone in the EU If it was your brother or sister I can understand because all you need to use is birth certificate but cousin it will be complicated
@@HilaryMaeva Is it a new rule now? Because they never ask for travel insurance. We always get insurance only when we come here. Your sponsor covers your insurance according to Annex 32 before you can get yours by yourself Except they’ve changed things. Explain better what they asked at TLSContact today so I can understand
Choose one. You’re lucky you even have money for block account. I will advise you go with block account. But u can still go with sponsor. It doesn’t make sense to have both
@@obinnaduru3815 yes because different rules apply in different countries. In my vidoe I clearly said that your sponsor should go to the Belgian embassy closest to him/her and for those in Belgium or EU, they go to their commune. So let your sponsor go there and sign. But he should carry all his documents, probably bank statement, job documents, pay slips, and ID
The amount varies each year. They make changes a lot. And it’s not amount that is suppose to be in her account but what she earns monthly. It’s from 2000€ upwards

First I said you guys should check the EU member states. Anyways, Germany is an EU state since January 1, 1958 which means your uncle can do it. But make sure he earns up to 2,000 euros a month. And for him to stand as your guarantor, he needs to put his own documents like ID card, three last payslips, work documents and maybe tax documents too and take to his municipal hall (commune) for them to check and see if he’s eligible. If they accept, they will give him documents and he can send to you.
