This mindset of man being the provider of the family has been going on for ages, and it will take time to CHANGE. But I personally don't agree with this. Even a woman can earn!

My mom is just like Shashi, that I can say that shashi is the duplicate copy her. She is very simple , pure and grounded. She is the much educated women and I'm simply proud to be her daughter. She is simple as shashi and her clothing is also same as shashi and she is more courageous than her. And I love my M♡M so much ❤.

This is one of my most favorite movie because of everyone's acting. As a Pakistani myself I can tell you that the character played by this Indian fellow as "Salman" is perfectly accurate...my brother exactly speaks like this, the way he calls women his sisters and when he appreciates the speech of the quit guy, everything to the perfection.

None of us are islands; we need resources to get the next stage of our growth; but deciding to take this resources and allow yourself to truly change, and to speak for yourself, that to me is without doubt independence-speaking for my favorite character in Hindi cinema, and speaking from my own experience, so these naturally are my perspectives and everyone has different perspectives on life 🙏🏾

The best part is He is french and She is Indian both of them have a barrier of language but the guy is so patient and understanding that when shashi vents out her frustration in her mother tongue he listens so carefully and it seems he understands her soul and eyes. Outstanding performance by Sri Devi. The story is simple but has a deep meaning. While watching the movie, i felt some incidents similar with me. I lost all the contacts with my school & college frndz. Thanks to facebook, fortunately i reconnected with some of my buddies. I gained a lot of confidence in myself & my colleagues appreciated my office work.

One of the best movie of Sridevi ji. She has acted so beautiful but it feels soooo real and close to our lives. We all connect with it at our own different levels. This movie has lot of positive message to give without actually speaking much. RESPECT, FAMILY, EQUALITY, LOVE……beautiful ingredients for any relation.
