I have seriously been crying so often,ie daily if not multiple times a day! That no matter how hard I pushed myself and worked on improving my circumstances-inevitably things consistently keep going south&never seem to go in a positive direction.
For about these last 10 yrs I'd been wheelchair bound due to my having an accident where I'd fallen from the bed of the truck I'd had at the time. I was trying to unload a spare transmission from the bed of the truck bed, lost my balance, &I'd landed on a pile of bricks. I had to have an emergency back surgery thatd resulted in my becoming partially paralyzed, wheelchair bound and told I'd never walk again.
Then, tired of life literally passing me by. So roughly about a year ago or so, I'd decided to push myself physicaly to regain the muscle strength+the ability to walk again.
Well. I'd accomplished it! !
I can walk again, &no more wheelchair or a seated walker!!!
(I'd even also worked on loosing weight-I was 265 lbs, &so far I've lost about 145lbs. I weigh roughly 123lbs!!)
Being I've also been living alone, &the car I Had, it's transmission literally went up in smoke last year in late summer. So now I now no longer have my own vehicle.
Being the fact that I am only recieving SSI benefits, that you can only spend a dollar once, which is a whopping sum of $783/month. This amount is to cover all my for rent, electricity, phone, groceries & all my day to day expenses.
Needless to say when attempting to finance a car last weekend, it was denied.
I. Don't. Make. Enough!
Keep in mind that I not only had pushed myself so I could walk again(which admittedly I had&am in a lot of pain,&I not likely to ever be 100% recovered,but I'll take that over not bein able to walk).
But yet also, I am so ridiculously determined to get back to the work force again-Im highly motivated because of the fact that I have about 10 years of lost time to make up for!!! I've been applying for jobs, and have even had to turn down job opportunities simply because I don't have a vehicle to make the 60min to 80 minute commute To those jobs.
How the heck was I to get a reliable vehicle to get to work, much less live life to the fullest of my ability when I can't even get a car to drive Anywhere?!? Much less, when I don't and can't qualify to finance a vehicle??!.....
Then seeing your channel comes into play where alls I can do is at least try to see if one of these options can in fact pay off!!
So, here is to my having high hopes&wishful thinking again!! Fingers crossed!!.....(stay tuned folks, as only time will tell I spose....🤷🏼♀️🙃Especially when things are currently not in the best of circumstances worldwide with both COVID-19 &"peaceful protests" goin down...l

I also enjoyed that the youtube author bluntly shares who might be eligible and where to go to check eligibility. I'm happy to have found this advantageous youtube feature on a rational andor intuitive whim.

I do you want to make a note that there are specific requirements before you submit applications. I thought this was a really good option for me, because I am a young driver( 22 years old ) so my insurance is very high. If you have a used vehicle that is over 10 years old most companies will not accept your applications.

My friend is on SSD and has a family of 2 and his transmission went of on his 2006 Ford Explorer. Their income from SSD is less than $700 a month. They are receiving help through family service with food stamps. They need a vehicle repaired to get to doctors appointments, grocery store, extra. Where do I direct him to get a transmission installed in his vehicle?

I need your help I'm on disability I heard a couple of choices right now I'm halfway blind I have my eye surgery coming up next week and the week after but getting to my appointments it's hard because the transportation is limited and then when it's time for them to pick me up from my appointments it takes them 2 to 3 hours just to pick me up from my appointments can you give me some help or suggestions please
