I am 61. This is the most important election of my lifetime. This is probably the most important election, ever. I have a 26 year old daughter. She knows this could be the most important of her lifetime. I think of her future, her safety and her constitutional rights as an American.
Important to remember, all the wars fought to protect our rights and civil liberties. All the men and women that dedicated their lives, time to defend the future of this country. We are their future, we have to protect our children, grandchildren future.
As important as 2020 was, this is by far more important.
If we do not start to mend this now, this country will be lost forever.

Biden is much weaker this time with many traditional key voting blocks. He has almost no young support left over the massacre in Gaza. Non-college educated minorities have left him also. He's lost up to 25% of black voters. Swing voters, Independents all are turning away from him too. Biden is hoping to win older voters (who vote in the highest % of any group). They might perhaps understand the dangers of communism, fascism, China, Russia, having lived through the Cold War, etc. better than young people do. Knock on doors and donate. Those two things will determine whether democracy stands or falls.

My daughter turned 18 this year. We could have registered her to vote online, but instead we printed the paperwork, filed it out and home and took her to the county voter registration office. I knew that if she handed in the papers herself it would feel more real for her. The 2 employees that were there were soo excited for her and talked with her about the process. Next week will be her first time voting, school board and school district budget vote.
My late father's take on the famous quote: "The biggest mistake that a person can make, is to think they can do so little, that they do nothing at all". I think this applies in so many ways.

I’ve donated to Biden directly. I’m a disabled senior and the ends of the funds I get do not meet up. Therefore it is a big deal for me to donate. Saying that, I am very grateful to donate because if I don’t, we don’t, then I may not have any funds at all. I’ve also talked a lot about voting to young confused voters, convinced them to register, and explained that their vote really does matter. Surprising how many think that their one vote doesn’t make a difference. Keep up the wonderful work of solidifying our democracy!

I’m a poll worker in a deep red state. I know the political views of my colleagues and, frankly, haven’t had much luck changing their views. Having said that, I can absolutely confirm that we are like good soldiers on an Election Day. We follow the rules even-handedly, and do nothing to attempt to influence the voters. I am proud of us.

Recent history has shown me the value of having a candidate of great character and lots of experience in Congress. Brian, as far as I can tell, has great character. But no experience. Biden is great because his character is great and his experience in Congress is longer than anyone else. I think more effective than Obama though Obama is great on stage, which is important because you must get elected. Biden may be pushing the envelope on age but he is clearly a great President.

I carry blank voter registration forms , both in Spanish & English in my bag & my car & as a Truman Scholar I spent two weeks with in leadership week & learned much more about the Constitution & how important it is to learn to know our policies that drive decisions that control how we make decisions & how to vet candidates! We all can do something! I ask people in my town & County if they are registered to vote & if they say no and show interest I offer them a voter registration form & teach them and offer to help answer Questions! I volunteer to door knock for candidates. I volunteer to write thank you notes for my local democrat office. There is much WE ALL CAN DO!

I work for an entitlement program, and our very existence depends on this election. The only time our program has ever been in danger was under trump. The one thing that stopped him from signing our program into oblivion was the Democratic Congress. I use this as a teaching tool to encourage youngsters to vote. I help them to complete voter's registration forms and see that the forms are mailed to our capital. Every. Single. Vote. Counts. C'mon America!! I'm a published writer; I've been told many times I'm an effective persuasive writer and speaker. I'm tired of being terrified. I'm also 70 and no longer need to punch a clock as long as the Maggots (previously known as Republicans) don't steal Social Security. I'm writing an editorial I want to publish in newspapers, other periodicals and online publications, describing what I know of vindictive narcissists, like the one I was married to for 24 years, and what we can expect if T. gets back in the White House. I don't have tons of current contacts, just friends and colleagues who are like-minded and also somewhat disconnected. I would be grateful for any advice you might give me on connecting with willing outlets for what I have to share. I'm under the impression that a LOT of Americans, regardless of economic class or political viewpoint, don't really understand narcissism and the damage it does. I lived it; I'm 18 years free of him and now my country is being threatened with a version of it on STEROIDS. I use email, smart phone texting, Facebook private messaging, Zoom, and snail mail. Thank you for what you're doing.
Send your materials to The New York Times, The New Yorker, Washington Post, Stephen Colbert, John Oliver, Forbes (conservative but might print), BBC America, Rachel Maddow, MSNBC, Chris Hayes, Politico, and pick some rabid red papers and sites but feature narcissism to get by their editors.
Send it to as many newspapers as you can as a letter to the editor. Good luck.
My advice (as a journalist & ex TV news anchor/editor): it might help if u get it initially printed in a small local medium. BUT - in order to optimize the bullhorn - u need to think digital & TV (people with podcasts that have millions of viewers like MTN Meidas Touch Network or Keith Olbermann or Jesse Dollemore or Really American. If u feel comfortable with taking it much further u could offer ur personal living hell to somebody like my former colleague Christine Amanpour or TDS The Daily Show/Jon Stewart (but that usually only works under certain premises). I am retired and living on a very limited income, but today I am going to make a $100 donation to President Biden. I am also filling out the complaint form to the 11th Circuit Court which I downloaded with Glen Kirschner’s help yesterday, and I will get it in the mail tomorrow morning. I live in an area where I am surrounded by Trumpers, and I am old and slowly dying from cancer, which means I am also pretty isolated and no longer physically very capable so I don’t think I can work the poles. Being older , I don't advertise any political affiliations , like bumper stickers , lawn signs , etc. It's not worth some crazy fight or vandalism . Early voting by mail or in person is easier . I don't wear any buttons , etc. If anyone tries to get answers " Oh I haven't even thought about it "works . Can't talk , late for an appointment or someone is waiting for a ride . My wife was unregistered, so I helped her get registered and she's ready to vote. I urge others to do the same if they are in a similar situation - esp. if you have children who are old enough to vote but not registered.

I am 70. I am more confused now than ever before. Always hated the GOP, but now my head feels like it will explode!
I am retired in CA, living on a fixed income, mostly from Social Security. I have given a fifty to a hundred dollars a several times to our governor's campaign, and several smaller donations to other Dems in our state. I don't try to engage neighbors or strangers in political discussions, rather I find it effective to listen to those willing to talk about their political views on just about everything. While I'm listening, I will repeat back to them some of the distorted or misinformed ideas they might be sharing. I will try to echo them in a way that questions their understanding of how they are parroting the myths and misinformation that they are repeating without questioning those myths themselves. Somehow, when they hears their own words come back to them, they start to hear how it sounds questionable. It is very difficult to change a person's mind; they need to feel like they are choosing to change how they think.
I'm one of those people who have been disparaging about the threats to our country and the Civil Rights we are losing due to Donald Trump and the Republican party.
My fiancé and I are going to our local DNC office on Thursday to see what we can do, and I am open to working the polls, anything that’s needed! 💙🇺🇸💙

My sister signed up to be a poll worker for 7 years. She was threatened and almost assaulted by Trump supporters to the point she told the election office she is done. Dont call her for anything. (Which is bad because she was the one who tracked machines and made sure the polling place was set up and ready.

We contribute directly to candidates in Iowa, plus give monthly to the DNC and the Iowa Dem Party, and have since 2016. I’ve been thinking of going down to the local Democratic HQ to volunteer for whatever they had available. Friends of mine have joined the postcard writing campaign. This lit my fire. Thank you both for all you do! Never underestimate the benefit your work has. There’s a lot behind those thumbs up that isn’t expressed.

I worked on 5 other people, but they stayed on Trump’s side.

I am a disabled combat veteran in my 40s. I was born in Poland. My husband is stationed here for now, so I am making the most of it.
The cool thing is that all of the people I unsuccessfully worked on are still my friends. That means I can still change their minds. I have a few months to keep trying.
Over the last 5 years I have worked as an election officer/poll worker, election protection officer and now inside the elections office to process registrations and ballots. I have registered voters and written postcards and canvassed for candidates. I am also active in my county democratic party. Democracy is why my ancestors came here and I am shocked that there are people who are so willing to sacrifice it.
