Congratulate the turner. Fire the cameraman. The turning is excellent and the commentary is top notch. 👍👍This would have been so much more enjoyable if the camera operator had use a fixed camera base or tripod of some sort. The camera movement almost made the video unwatchable. 👎👎Still, thank you for sharing. 😀😀I think I got enough out of this to be able to do one of my own. The dimensions used are very instructive. 👍👍Have a great day and stay safe.🙂🙂
The project is great, however I am astounded that you wear a watch while operating a lathe. It comes awfully close to the chuck. Promoting such a practice is not good.
Have watched other videos about these tops. This is the best!
Thanks, I’ll let Dennis know.
The explanations here seem very clear. I think I will try. I was a bit overwhelmed by other videos
This is so cool, Dennis is very talented. I will try this today!
Please do
Very nice. I have to make some of them when I get home.
Agree. This was a good lesson.
Great job 👏 have to make some of these!!!
Thanks Tim. Can’t wait to see your version.
Awesome. Will any permanent marker work? I don't think we have sharpies in South Africa
Have to try them
I've never used a roughing gouge like that and probably never will. Wouldn't a peeling cut with a skew be easier?
Agree. I would have used a skew or Bedan but to each their own. Thanks for visiting .

Thanks for the constructive feedback, it's the first time I've heard this one. Have fun with your top making. :-)
