I believe Pst. Kumuyi had an encounter with God, I also believe him when he said God gave him a heavenly vision to preach holiness. However, I do not believe God told him to preach that watching TV is a sin, female wearing jacket is a sin, female wearing trouser is a sin, perming hair is a sin etc. Obeying these doctrines doesn't mean you are indeed holy. I pray that Pst. Kumuyi himself should make it to heaven because the standard for judgment is determined by God alone. I fear for him because he said if his members love and respect him, they should not question anything he says to them. They should take it hook line and sinker. He is human and prone to error. The Berean Christians received recommendations for querrying what was preached to them. I will always querry and check the word of God against what any pastor tells me.

There are several places where garments were mentioned in the Bible, both the one worn by Jesus himself and other men. Non of those places says they wore trousers.

I still can't find anything. Maybe I am watching the wrong video! Can somebody explain clearly what really went wrong?
This video clearly explains why pastor Kumuyi is angry. There is another video that shows where he expressed his disappointment. This choir is the choir he is talking about

Is wearing of jackets for the female folks now sinful??? what of our ladies that work in banks, audit firms and other corporate organizations.....how do we expect them to dress??? Personally I dont see anything wrong in their appearance
I think the pastor is particular about why they should go that far when the choir actually have a uniform. Plus, it's becoming like a competition in different state to see who dresses best. Thereby, turning good intentions to canality.

Our beloved mummy Esther in one of pastors recent facebook post on his official facebook page was seen wearing a white jacket beautifully sewn should we also ask his wife our mummy to do away with all her jackets???, Choir from the Uk,US,Canada and other western countries wear it and nothing have been said against them. Personally I dont see anything wrong in the female choristers wearing jackets....The G.S is not infallible and other key leaders should learn to call him to order in instances like this.....Wearing of jackets wont make a brother fall, neither will it lead the sisters to hell either......

@@lukumanakande8870 I didnt debunk what my pastor said sir, all I responded to was that for me....wearing of jackets isnt wrong. Pastor Kumuyi is human and not immune to mistakes as such U dont expect me to accept all he said hook line and sinker especially when it doesn't align with the bible.

He focuses only on the Church God has used Him to build and makes sure they keep to the standard God expects the church to be both in dressing 👗 and character.

The problem is that according to Pst. Kumuyi, the jacket is a male apparel so the women should not wear it. Period.

If you are going to justify or support the rebuke, at least quote him directly and stop changing the narrative based on your own interpretation of his direct statement, one made openly for that matter.

There is nothing wrong with their dressing,infact the church should be grateful for showing to the world that deeper life has improved. However if they say the dressing is not accepted the there should visit history on how pastor kumuyi attended his son wedding with on covered head and modern marriage dressing without the church suspending his son or kumuyi for not condemning his son and daughter in-law for going against the church dressing code
