  • Soldiers of the 1st Armoured Regiment conducted a final parade at Robertson Barracks, Northern Territory on Wednesday 25 October 2017.
The parade was a chance to commemorate the centenary of the Battle of Beersheba. It also marked the Regiment’s departure from the Northern Territory, ahead of their move down south to the the RAAF Base Edinburgh Precinct in South Australia, signifying the realisation of changes within the 1st Brigade in line with the Australian Army’s Plan Beersheba.
Following the 1st Armoured Regiment’s proud 22-year history in the Northern Territory, the Regiment’s soldiers and equipment will arrive ready to take advantage of the all-year training conditions available in South Australia.
