I think this drama had a good plot and unexpectedly got popular. However, one thing I don't like is the way the filming is done. Not sure what the director's intentions are but the way it's filmed makes the drama seems a bit downgraded. Maybe to make it more dramatic? But i dont the effect is good nor worth the trade of for It makes the actors and actresses looks bad. For instance, main actress isn't really gorgeous as the drama depicts her character to be but they make her look terrible in a lot of shots they filmed of her. The angling and way too many close ups takes away points for me. Overall, it was a good drama to watch for the plot itself. Sad that the maid died though :(

Other than that I loved the drama. I loved the friendship between the duke and the emperor. It's rare to see genuine friendship like those involving an emperor. They remain best friends from childhood.
I love how the story developed between the main characters, it was not rushed but their was an understanding between those two.
I love how she was able to solve both her and Li problems and how she managed to create family bond. It well put together how she was able to live both identities without loosing herself, but found purpose and strength instead.
I absolutely love how they were always on top and the enemy was always getting defeated,
Everyone got what they deserve.
What I didn't like was that too much good persons died.
Another thing is, I like how her sister didn't perish but was able to see reason and live for herself. She was her mother's puppet but wasn't a bad person.

@@nita4688 I agree. I like that too.... it's nice to have a genuine relationship in dramas. People tend to think a good drama needs too many dramatic and hateful characters but sometimes it's more refreshing to see a wholesome relationship and that doesn't go as to say only romantically. Glad emperor is a good character. Yes, too many good people died. and I liked how the emperor's loved actually loves him and despite being a bit of a bad character, she genuinely loves him and willing to sacrificed herself. At least it made her deserving of his love. But then again the emperor unlike in a lot of dramas, he is young and handsome and loves her. lol
