I miss LWT. Great entertainment
Jimmy Tarbuck had a cherished number plate reading 'COMIC' on his Rolls Royce.
This prompted Bernard Manning to quip that Tarbuck should be 'prosecuted under the Trades Descriptions Act'.
😆
Bernard Manning also had a private number plate on his Rolls Royce...1LAF! I used to walk past his house every morning on my way to school. I met him a few times too, abrupt but charming haha 😂
All i could picture when i was watching the news on this vid was the ITV show Spitting Image and it's characters 😂 almost every famous/infamous person who was on the news had a latex caricature of themselves on there!
😂 Many thanks for the memories uploader ❤
I was surprised to see a slight picture & sound jolt when LWT switched to ITN. It used to happen in the Tyne Tees area (where I lived), but by 1984 only TV-AM had that kind of jolt & not from any of the other ITV stations nor ITN
Stunning coincidence. Watching news of a massive arms haul captured on the Irish Sea on the day 40 years later that a massive drugs haul has been captured from a boat on the Irish Sea.
Keith Harrison doing the honours on the South Bank. Wonder if he was still at C4 when A Married Man got its original run?
I heard someone stole his toupee and sold it to Gypsies so he never showed his face again
I'm there was much booing in some households Mr. T resecued Cilla from Bruce's trap...
Robert Carrier was my mom’s favourite cook 😂
