Used to love the spinner racks when I was a kid. Still own the comics I bought whilst on family holidays over 40 years ago. From the spinner racks! I no longer collect. I just have a collection. There is a difference! I just like having them.
Yes, most of the comics in the spinner racks are the ones I bought as a child, recently I was able to purchase a few missing copies to make complete runs and enjoy rereading the stories all over again.
You look like someone who would be into ROM comics as well! Super cool spinner racks and nice how u got so many newsstand books to match the racks! Haha The avengers 183 will go right in with your collection Pete! Subbed for more great content -Kingsley
Glad you enjoyed seeing some of the Retro Attic Mancave Marvel Bronze age collection. The reason that most of these comics are newsstand books is that I bought most of them directly from the newsagents spinner rack back in the day when I was just a teenager. Look out for the Comic Book Spinner Rack update video once CGC Signed copy of The Avengers #183 is added to the collection.
Agreed, it is a shame when these beautiful comic books get encased in an unopenable hard plastic shell. I understand why certain comic book collectors do this to ensure grade and value of the comic, but with most of the ones in my collection over 40 years old and still being read today, they will most likely outlast me on Earth-616.
Thanks, working on the Marvel Questprobe comic / ZX Spectrum Questprobe game collaboration video at the moment, hope to finish it in a few weeks. Appreciate the ROM Questprobe cartridge you produced for this project.
Yes,yes indeed, indeed. I'm just saying thank you for this evening true powerful video essay commentary is indeed in my opinion truth be told the truth and food for thought. Again thank you for your deep point of view is very important information. Historically, history lesson.
Glad you enjoyed the video, as I read these comics, I continue to swap out collections with those stored in boxes. Since recording this a complete run of The Invaders (1975) #1 to #41 has been added into the spinner rack featuring Captain American, Sub-Mariner and Human Torch.

Great little vid & fantastic spinner racks! I've been trying to source one myself without much luck thus far...😕
Thanks for the comments, spinner racks are difficult to find these days and can be expensive when available.
