Yeah I think you got the point of what Suhyun and Yoon meant with their feedback/comments to Team B. There’s no doubt that these girls can sing and rap amazingly well. Yoon even said the singing was PERFECT. However, the visual performance was just not at the same level as their singing/rapping. Did the girls enjoy performing on the stage? Did they manage to connect with the audience? If you think about it, we only saw this performance through a camera. YGE senior artists, YHS, producers, and dance trainers were there in person and saw every movement and heard every note. Now I understand the Team B had a hard time relating to the song. So maybe they were too focused on singing with emotions than connecting with the audience. But even for me…I enjoyed what I heard from them, but it was hard for me to really stay connected with them watching the performance you know? I think they will get better with their stage presence/connecting with their audience better. But wasn’t this also the same exact feedback that Jennie gave in the previous episode? The whole paying attention and knowing your audience..looking and connecting with them? Chiquita gave me a jolt of energy in the end, so she did stand out to me. Asa did awesome with her rap.. and Haram vocals suits the song and Rora was solid too. But yeah they felt a bit disconnected to the audience. Team A did a really great job despite only be 3 members. They had really good stage presence and a really solid cohesive performance. Yeah they didn’t move too much either, but you can tell they enjoyed it. They smiled, looked at each other, they were expressive, and most importantly stared at the camera and audience. Which is one of the feedback they got from YGE Senior artists.. they were relaxed and very natural on stage. They had great facial expressions and enjoyed performing it. When you see and feel that from artists + good vocals/rapping it’s a WIN-WIN. But to hear great vocals/raps, but not see that same energy visually or in front you is DIFFERENT. Again.. Team B did an amazing job with the vocals and rapping. However, I feel they can definitely do better with facial expressions/connecting with the audience. So, this is a good learning experience for them. The talent and skills is definitely there, they just have to continue building up their performance level. That’s all and like I said I feel like they will improve and get better with more practice and experience.

Also, a little backstory of BABY MONSTER as shown from their introduction videos.. you will see in a good amount of their dance evaluation performances there’s more than 7 trainees. I believe there was like 2 or 3 other trainees that got cut before the Last Evaluations. You see their blurred faces in some of the girls intro videos. So yeah technically this dance mission is their first time dancing as 7. Also, the teaser is another fake out tbh. Just look at the teaser from last week, everybody was under impression that Lisa was going to be the tough mentor who made Haram cry. Well did that happen?? It wasn’t Lisa and wasn’t even YHS who made Haram cry. Haram cried because she was stressed/felt pressure to get the dance move perfectly. So this whole individual ranking is true, but how they put the clips together was inconsistent especially with the “elimination” part with Ruka looking emotional is BAIT for fans to get nervous/confused. That’s the point of it being a teaser, things are not always what it seems. That clip of Ruka might be her thoughts about YHS talking about possible eliminations because Ruka’s outfit is still from “Gone” performance not the dance performance. It’s clear that YHS announces individual ranking and possible eliminations after their dance performance..the girls are all wearing white outfits. So yeah there’s some editing there to make things even more dramatic than it is. Oh and about the whole TREASURE line up. Throughout the whole show YHS said he initially said he wanted 5 members, then it went to 6, then it went to 7 members. 7 out of the 13 trainees that we left and that’s how YGTB ended. They announced the 7 members one by one after the show was over. There were some fans who were not happy with the final outcome and were being really harsh to the 2 members who made it over their faves. It was ROUGH. Then YHS announced that there will be another group made from the 6 other trainees who did not make TREASURE. They were called MAGNUM, apparently they were going to appeal to the Japanese market/fans. Then at some point YHS/YGE just ended up putting the two groups together and have them as TREASURE 13. Obviously one of them left due to wanting to go on his own musical direction, then we had TREASURE 12. Unfortunately, Yedam and Mashi left for valid personal reasons and now they’re 10. So yes things have happened and changes were made depending on the groups situation and direction of the group. So I think that’s what YHS/YGE is doing with BABY MONSTER, seeing those who will be.. as he said.. most compatible in the group because it’s about the combination and dynamics. Now don’t get me wrong… I’m all about OT7..I think 7 is a great number and they compliment each other well. But if YHS indeed cut 1 or 2 trainees for a valid reason.. and it has to be a legit valid reason. Then I can’t be mad.. maybe it’s just not the right time for them to debut just yet. Maybe those trainees are better as solo artists or maybe these girls will fit better with THE BLACK LABEL’s rumored girl group. There is a purpose for what YHS/YGE does especially when it comes to producing an artist. Again.. I want OT7, but if they have to separate I will still support all 7 girls and their separate endeavors in the future. I noticed ppl are worried about Ruka, but again.. that is just a tactic I feel Ruka is not in the chopping block for elimination. This is very similar to YGTB, when they showed Yedam possibly getting defeated by another trainee or trainees going after him. Then we see him crying or walking off as if he was defeated, but the episode airs and he does incredibly well and keeps his spot in the TREASURE line up. That’s how I felt when I saw Ruka pop up in the end. Also, just wanted to bring this up… Ruka is the first one to post a picture on her bday on BABY MONSTER’s official account. I don’t think an eliminated trainee or not a member of BABY MONSTER will be able or allowed to post on the official account. Not only that, but she’s been spotted a lot going in and out of YGE building. So.. yeah nice try YGE! Maybe next time you can really trick us.
