Insurance companies are not in the market to lose money. The sooner you learn that the better. What really needs to be addressed is the cost of Healthcare in gnrl. Lower the cost to where people can afford it.
And the way the market lowers costs in most other industries is to open it up to competing providers. That puts downward pressure on prices. If we want lower costs, we need to stop protecting providers from competition.
Wildfires in Northern California have been occurring since time immemorial. I visited the areas near Santa Barbara and the South Yuba River valley. The cloud cover does not produce rain.

(I doubt you're unfamiliar with this legal procedure, although I can't recall any discussion of the topic on your show.) Oh my stars! America will not unite behind Trump, but we will unite behind the need for healthcare reform. Now which politicians have actually been working in favor of healthcare reform? It starts there.
..aaand something else the commentator here is missing that is, while the fire example has the intrinsic flaw he's bringing up, that's not the issue. The issue is that there are completely, totally illogical instances of price gouging or negative impact because of isurance companies. For example, insurance companies, not police reviewers or the FBI or anyone with any logical reason to have end judgement input, but insurance companies have forced changes in banking and security proceedures that resulted in banks going unguarded and security companies being forced to rotate just a few guards around to try to make it appear banks had guards when they in fact didnt. they causes the replacement of about 20-30 cops operating as security with just a handful of civilian guards, armed and outfitted with equipment equal to what someone would carry in 1970 instead of what is appropriate for this day and age impairing the guards from doing their jobs and being able to properly respond to a crisis and defend themselves, employees or customers. Why? It was the best most cost efficient -plan THEY, not the security industry, came up with that also had the lowest danger of resulting in lawsuits, in their opinion. Corperate guys, not even actual lawyers. So again, him defending the insurance companies falls flat.
Why do you care what Rogan has to say? Hes a martial Arts expert, I want to hear his views on Helth care as much as I want to hear KAmaka Harris views on MMA

Robby yet again showing his ignorance.
Heres my problem, if we know we don't like it where is the good guy version? Why am I charged a Fee if I dont get insurance?
Insurance companies are not in the market to lose money. The sooner you learn that the better. What really needs to be addressed is the cost of Healthcare in gnrl. Lower the cost to where people can afford it.
A voice of reason in a sea of people who don't understand.
So anything a health insurance company does (or any company, really) in the name of increasing profit is acceptable?
@@utah_koidragon7117 so anything a govt intervention does to reel in healthcare insurance companies in the name of lowering costs is also acceptable?
And the way the market lowers costs in most other industries is to open it up to competing providers. That puts downward pressure on prices.
If we want lower costs, we need to stop protecting providers from competition.
@@nicklll4477 I didn't say anything like that.
For-profit health insurance is not working for patients.
Always thought the richest country in the world had universal Healthcare, pharma care and dental care. 😮
Wildfires in Northern California have been occurring since time immemorial. I visited the areas near Santa Barbara and the South Yuba River valley. The yellow grass grows very high, goes on for miles, and naturally starts on fire year after year. The cause? Seasonal lightning storms and high winds. The wind and lightning occur without rain! The cloud cover does not produce rain.
If you don't want insurance, don't buy it. Just go straight to the doctor or hospital.
What's gross is Joe's support for Trump.
Companies are in business to make money. Unless you want a Soviet style system better get used to it. Personally our health care system is wrongly encouraging. The monetary incentive is not to keep you healthy it's to run procedures, tests , treatments, etc. Perhaps the government should direct it to another way.
Just remember, Rogan wouldn’t have been talking about healthcare and insurance in general if Luigi hadn’t done what he did
Homie, he was talking about healthcare when he had bernie on years ago. You can sit down and be quiet now.
He has been talking about it for a long time. You haters are just coping.
He talked about it in his interview with RFK.
niall is so kneejerky. sure miss brihana. robbie, doing ok.
That was Roger Avary next to Tarantino, the co-author of Pulp Fiction.
@JOE ROGAN: THIS CASE is an EXCELLENT example of when JURY NULLIFICATION is appropriate!
(I doubt you're unfamiliar with this legal procedure, although I can't recall any discussion of the topic on your show.)
This is something that YOU have the platform and personal credibility which are capable of bringing this idea into sufficient public awareness that it could become virtually impossible to select a jury ignorant of their superpower…
Please, MAKE IT SO!
He’s right you know …
So he supports Trump??? He’s ridiculous
This is free market capitalism America and you are welcome to start your own non-profit insurance company with low premiums and no denying of claims. Good luck. Many have tried.
Oh my stars! America will not unite behind Trump, but we will unite behind the need for healthcare reform. Now which politicians have actually been working in favor of healthcare reform? It starts there.
JOE IS A SELL OUT!!
How have they not figured out the audio issues?!?! Still unwatchable.
The guy in the glasses sounds very jealous of the assassin
A cog? More like a car axle
Robbie had a lot of coffee today
If only all insurance was nationalized. Lol, I just heard Robby's head explode. 🤯
It's seems like everyone is attacking Rogan to try and knock him off the lead in views so they can be the most viewed
I am Luigi Mangione!
Libertarian view? ignoring climate change you mean
Not knowing the names of the guests on the Rogan clip really doesn't seem too professional.
These hosts give me bad vibes
..aaand something else the commentator here is missing that is, while the fire example has the intrinsic flaw he's bringing up, that's not the issue.
But Joe, Elon Musk says they’re okay!
Why do you care what Rogan has to say? Hes a martial Arts expert, I want to hear his views on Helth care as much as I want to hear KAmaka Harris views on MMA
Joe Rogan is literally 5’4”
Sorry, I’m not watching the Hill till the young republican is gone
Corpo mouthpieces, don't fall for victim blaming propaganda people.
You guys need to work on your studio sound quality/miking. You sound like a transistor radio.
Luigi is THE GOAT release him NOW!! He is a true American HERO. Free Luigi!!!!!
UNH profit margin is only 3%. It’s very very low for a big corporation. These critics should study more about why insurance is so expensive? It’s complicated issue. Maybe it should start from Obama care or massive illegal immigrants.
It's 6%.
Tell you what, let them cut that margin in half to the figure you cite, and we'll talk.
They still managed to make over $30,000,000 profit last year. With their 3% profit.
