    HOMEMADE FUDGE SAUCE
     1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
     2 cups sugar
     4 oz. unsweetened chocolate baking bars  1⁄4 cup butter
     1 tsp. vanilla
     1⁄2 tsp. salt
    Heat milk and sugar to rolling boil, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Add chocolate, stirring until melted. Beat with wire whisk until smooth. If sauce has a slightly curdled appearance, beat vigorously until creamy and smooth. Remove from heat and blend in butter, vanilla and salt. Makes about 3 cups. Will thicken as it stands, or serve hot for hot fudge Sundays.
