I know this doesn’t exactly apply but when i get comms like this in prox chat I ask them if they have ever done any tier 4 or 5 missions and most of the times they lie and say yes but they would know there are lots of pvp missions in the later tiers. I just did one the other day kill 15 opps in one deployment. I have 3 more missions to finish this weekend till I have all tiers completed in all factions.

This mission - to drop the flash drive into deaddrop waterways it is the easiest mission ever. avoid any fight with juggernauts and AI, the important thing is where you enter the waterways tunnel. There is another similar mission - to collect Ashika intel, which is near the cabinets 10 m beyond the deaddrop. You don't have to fight at all...just stun grenades - I did these missions solo - in the one with ashika intel, I passed by him (juggernaut), he was right next to the cabinets, I collected, I came out with only 2 stun grenades and a single shot in an AI
Best thing I've learned is to ask in lobbies for mics if it's randoms. If they don't answer or they speak another language I cancel out and redeploy. I know some are just afk, but I don't wanna chance it.
Yeah, you can't do that solo. Hope they make it so you can stick to the main map. I don't like playing those death traps, but I do want another insured slot. I have 2-3 Ashika missions I am stuck on, including grabbing intel from different areas and extracting with the intel from that same area in the shipping container. I can probably sneak down in the zipline, grab it, get back up, and exfil, but I feel it will just piss me and I will die a lot. They need a way to sync up with randos, like you join a squad and have 5 mins to adjust keys, items, and missions. Would help for people like me who has friends that hate COD. I have like 5 skeleton keys and 3 Bunker 21 Keys, just because I don't want to try that myself. I also don't want to permanently add anyone as a friend, as I try to keep my friends list restricted to people I actually know or their friends, as to not fill it with randos I don't know (I have bad people skills and forget people rather quick lol). I will keep my hopes up that Season 5 will add such a feature.
This is exactly the DMZ content I love to see, anyone can wipe squads..this takes alot more skill as a human being helping fellow gamers who enjoy the game like you do.

Have you done the disarming presence mission on S4? Dead dropping 3 hemlocks and you gotta extract with one is the main thing. I thought I was done but as exfil was taking off I checked my missions and saw the progress reset. Jumped and finished it solo, one of the most stressful missions when the bots just don't feel like dropping the last 2 hemlocks.
I fully expected a different ending, but it's nice to see that there's still a heart in there, Looch. Excellent storytelling, great quality, keep it up.
I've been playing DMZ more especially after watching your videos. Most of the time i'm just trying to do contracts and missions. I try to avoid others as much as I can. A team rolled up on my Hostage Contract one time. I got on comms and told them i'm just doing my contract and am not interested in them. They decided to be the aggressors, so I had to take them out. Especially because i've been playing DMZ more, I see the need for plates more than ever. Between dipping and and rotating plus the bots, it definitely helps keeping you alive. I think a thing that gets me is a degree of impatiences and I end up having a mob of bots get me with their agro and ability to plink you pretty far. That and in hostage contracts, sometimes the bots guarding the hostage get the best of me.....
This is why I love DMZ. I play a lot of solo. Sure, you get mullered a lot but its the good stuff that stands out. I regularly tandem exfil with enemy operators, even on final exit. You just have to communicate but you do get to swap kit. If you're not prepared to get whacked, don't roll the dice😊

Especially getting this harddrive thing and the one where you have to visit all poi with a thing as well. I also often find the golden skull and give it and the gas can and the electril drill to them if they have the mission. Sadly people rarely realize 😅
Noice. You gotta balance that karma. For every round where I turn into a prick and start hunting down other teams, there is at least one round where I pick up pleads, befriend teams who have nice sounding prox chat. One time, I coordinated two other teams to set up a 'kill factory' in a warehouse in Quarry so that a bunch of players could get their 'get 100 kills with this loadout' challenges done really fast. 2 'dying' volunteers, and one 'medic' who would run in and revive them really quick before they were killed again. Everyone had a great time.
I can’t even count how many times I’ve have helped people with this mission. The last time I helped someone, they asked for help and then acted like a fkn squirrel with ADHD, didn’t even care about the mission. I did the whole thing for him, got the hard drive, added him as a friend, got into a party, went to Ashika with him, dropped off the hard drive, literally all while he was off doing his own thing. I finished it because I started it, so I felt like I had to finish it. Got it done for him, he said thanks at least. I unfriended him immediately and that’s the last time I ever did that stupid ass mission. 😂
DMZ wouldn't be fun if there wasn't player interactions! Regardless of whether or not there's PVP. Sure AI needs tweaks, and contracts, squad-ding up, plea-ing , etc could use a rework but it's still my favorite play type! I play DMZ to crazy boost my XP, level and unlock guns, and hunt and/or troll people. My favorite move is the 'Wookie Twerk' involving a dead guy near a door I can shut, and me opening it facing backwards and giving people a show all while in a gillie suit. You have to full commit to the wookie sounds. Who cares if you can't do them correctly!
I only started playing DMZ to unlock some guns I was missing. Barely touched multi-player since. Love the randomness of games, it usually pays to be kind and more times than I can count has it payed off being the good guy.
There's always room For a good fight. I'll pick ppl up as long as they ain't too toxic. I really love taking out squad that sit and throw racial slurs and threaten irl violence, very fulfilling.

If people don’t like getting killed PVP then they shouldn’t play DMZ. I got pretty pissed off when I would die in DMZ so that’s why I won’t play it anymore. I couldn’t handle dying & losing everything (what very little) I had. So I just leave the DMZ play to you Loochy. I’ll just watch the videos. 😅 good shit tho loochy, I like the toxic stuff too. People are just sore losers (I know from experience, being the loser that is) haha. But even when you get killed you don’t get toxic. 1st rule of DMZ, SHOOT FIRST, TALK LATER, the point is, kill the enemy player, and talk to them on the proximity chat after, if they are friendly, pick em' up. it's better than get killed by a hostile team and lose all your loot
DMZ is not just PvE it's PvEvP you can ignore other squad or team up or just kill them it's up to you, there is no rule saying you should not kill other players if you are not hunting them. if they wanted it to be like that they could just change PvEvP to just PvE. I can see why people don't like to fight other players but so many people like the fun of HUNTING other players. for me DMZ is better version of the warzone and I like to kill other players. there are so many other games out there that are like DMZ mode but people don't kill other players that often, if you don't like the way some players play DMZ you can just play other games.
Ngl I agree with that comment at the beginning. I mean it's the elephant in the room. Warzone is for PvP. DMZ is for a more casual experience. Those who hunt people down in DMZ for pure PvP don't want a fair fight and it's lowkey toxic even if you have a 'good attitude' doing it. The reality is 99% of the people who do that are not like Loochy, they are trash talking man children that don't realize they're talking to other humans on the other side of a mic. I don’t think toxic players ruin the game. I think it makes the game more fun trying to complete the missions. I will kill everyone i come by because I learned never to trust anyone who carry a weapon. I’ll pick people up if they have comms and sounds friendly. If they don’t have mics I don’t care… And I don’t wanna beg for being picked up either. I just leave… if people ask I wanna team up I do gladly. There is def some cool people you can meet in dmz.

I did brake check twice without dealing with any AI by drop. I went thru tunnel by castle and took zip line down next to drop and was in and out without anyone knowing
I enjoy DMZ for a lot of reasons i can say at the end of 3.5 coming its more hunting less missions cause the wipes coming but its a high risk high reward game variant. I enjoy soloing and teaming.i wish id have got into it sooner coming from dayz community where people will shoot you over a pear its all part of the game . Yeah some of the players are toxic but not everyone. I follow ONIC's rules, you shoot at me with the intent to kill me and loot me you're done. You shoot at me cuz you're scared or I caught you off guard fine. But if I send you an invite accept it or you're dead
These r always the best times I’ve had on DMZ. When u get lucky as hell with a great team n everyone works together to get soooo much more done. Awesome video loved it!! It was awesome that u actually kept going with him to finish it out

I agree with some of what they complain about. Knowing the work people do to get things and the frustration to lose it, then intentionally doing just that knowing its dirty. I was solo and got the weapon case all by myself and a mf killed me on the tailgate of the exfil chopper. Thats a dick move. Make fun of me if you want. Thats just a dick move. pvp is like it or not a huge part of dmz the issue i have is still the 6 man kill squads and the pre made asian vpn kill squads. 1v1 2v2 3v3 all fair game
Exfil campers are the WORST and LOWEST form of humanity. That being said, DMZ is a great blend of pve and pvp, an extraction shooter not unlike Escape from Tarkov which is much more brutal from what I can tell. You go into DMZ expecting pvp and treachery, or not at all. Pvp using only hunt squad doesn't work either bc the squad you are hunting can spend a good chunk of your round running away from you. Part of what makes DMZ so great are the interactions you have with other players: you don't know if they will be treacherous, toxic, dogs or wind up being the best squadmates you've ever had. There are aspects to the DMZ I don't particularly like, but as a whole I love this type of gaming which has unique style and characteristics from the other very generic ones.
Pretty spot on explanation of DMZ. I just wish there was more of a point to it all. A good marketplace for trading goods would do wonders for this game.

Don't for get about the little kids playing. I've ran into kids as young as 6,7,8,9 years old. That are playing an adult game.

I have noticed that the Hurricane SMG will drop Jugs with almost 1 50 round clip, just FYI, did this solo and dropped both with no problem
I don’t think toxic players ruin the game. I think it makes the game more fun trying to complete the missions. I will kill everyone i come by because I learned never to trust anyone who carry a weapon. I’ll pick people up if they have comms and sounds friendly. If they don’t have mics I don’t care…
And I don’t wanna beg for being picked up either. I just leave… if people ask I wanna team up I do gladly. There is def some cool people you can meet in dmz.

I did brake check twice without dealing with any AI by drop. I went thru tunnel by castle and took zip line down next to drop and was in and out without anyone knowing
I enjoy DMZ for a lot of reasons i can say at the end of 3.5 coming its more hunting less missions cause the wipes coming but its a high risk high reward game variant. I enjoy soloing and teaming.i wish id have got into it sooner coming from dayz community where people will shoot you over a pear its all part of the game . I’m looking forward to the update and i enjoy your content hope to see you out there bud. Thank you for the content cause it’s Been a hard learning curve switching early season three

Yeah some of the players are toxic but not everyone. I follow ONIC's rules, you shoot at me with the intent to kill me and loot me you're done. You shoot at me cuz you're scared or I caught you off guard fine. But if I send you an invite accept it or you're dead
These r always the best times I’ve had on DMZ. When u get lucky as hell with a great team n everyone works together to get soooo much more done. Awesome video loved it!! It was awesome that u actually kept going with him to finish it out

I agree with some of what they complain about. Knowing the work people do to get things and the frustration to lose it, then intentionally doing just that knowing its dirty. I was solo and got the weapon case all by myself and a mf killed me on the tailgate of the exfil chopper. Thats a dick move. Make fun of me if you want. Thats just a dick move. That being said i also knowingly got the case that puts a target on my back. But people who just see operators then hunt them down just to kill them and take their stuff thats a super dick move
I'm tired of hearing people cry about getting PVP'd in DMZ grow up or go play a single player game or a campaign mode where nobody will hurt your little feelings when they shoot you

I get being hunted is annoying and i wish they put something in the game to counter hige squads.......BUT you should expext that from a looter shooter

Lmfao, not like there are missions that require hunting either... nor that its a feature in game at all eh. The only toxic part is the slurs, racism, bigotry etc.. Sure its frustrating when people do not use their comms at all or say one thing and do another, but how is that different to real life??

That hard drive mission was a pain... Died to the juggernaut and AI in the tunnels more than I died to players
pvp is like it or not a huge part of dmz the issue i have is still the 6 man kill squads and the pre made asian vpn kill squads. 1v1 2v2 3v3 all fair game
People who whine about PvP in DMZ are the same people who show off their participation trophies….
PvP don't bother me but people loading in to the game just to b a six man with an Ltv hunting down solos is a little ridiculous

Exfil campers are the WORST and LOWEST form of humanity. That being said, DMZ is a great blend of pve and pvp, an extraction shooter not unlike Escape from Tarkov which is much more brutal from what I can tell. You go into DMZ expecting pvp and treachery, or not at all. Pvp using only hunt squad doesn't work either bc the squad you are hunting can spend a good chunk of your round running away from you. Part of what makes DMZ so great are the interactions you have with other players: you don't know if they will be treacherous, toxic, dogs or wind up being the best squadmates you've ever had. There are aspects to the DMZ I don't particularly like, but as a whole I love this type of gaming which has unique style and characteristics from the other very generic ones.
Pretty spot on explanation of DMZ. I just wish there was more of a point to it all. A good marketplace for trading goods would do wonders for this game.
