Time of teaching n growing.
Needed this today….
My heart and my reading of scripture both have always born witness that suffering is always going to be part of life. I have not found a lot of good teaching on this topic in charismatic circles. But teaching on suffering can also be out of balance. I think we must keep our hearts encouraged by focusing on God’s character and love and His promises.
I think it is a very much needed teaching here in the West. We have come to expect suffering should be mostly for those outside the Body...

When overwhelmed with sadness for the "long suffering" God, choose instead to be overjoyed for His profound mercy...every evil deed is seen every moment and yet, we can still be forgiven.
It seems like the false Health n Wealth message proclaimed by those who would seek to make merchandise out of the sheep and teach them to embrace the belief that the prosperity gospel is the sign of a true fillower are now over. That teaching has lend itself to the false belief that we ought to walk an easy road devoid of any suffering. it is now time to occupy, and choose to fillow Him no matter what the future may hold. Yehovah, Abba, help our unbelief!
