Yesss she was very beautiful 🥰💕💓💞🌹🌹🌹 and it's soo sad the way peeps did her wrong👎🥺😫 may she rest easy love u mm💞💓💕🌹🥰💯💋💋💋💋💋😘😘😘🥂
yeah and then she loaded herself up with plastic surgery, makeup, and dyed hair to fit the beauty standard.
As an infant her baby bed was a dresser drawer.( a lot of poor families did this)
Mine did. My crib was a drawer, my dads before me, hia before him. The first child I adopted my oldest niece was the first child after 6 generations to have not just a proper bed but also a room she didnt have to share.
Oh, yes. I have worked with families who do that. Sometimes you just have to make do. As long as the child is loved, that is the most important part.
I will die on this hill.... if it works, and nobody gets hurt, it's not stupid.
I used to serve a customer who worked with her at the factory. He said she was quiet but very very nice.

Sad that most people only know as a “ditzy blonde“ when really she was actually quite smart with a high IQ. Also was quite the pillar in the civil rights community.
So glad that you mentioned that little known fact . Respect to her for her contributions to the movement.

When Marilyn was married to Joe DiMaggio, they lived next door to my grandparents. This was when my mom, aunt, and uncle were kids, ages (in above order) 12, 10, and 8). She would invite them over to go swimming along with Joe's son, who was a year older than my mom. While the kids were in the pool, my grandma and Marilyn would sit and talk while having tea together. My grandma always said she was the sweetest person, as was Joe DiMaggio. My mom told me Marilyn would go for walks in the middle of the night. She would just walk back and forth along the sidewalk. She would only go about 3 or 4 houses down, then walk back and forth, sometimes for hours.

Here are some more tidbits:. Her hair was originally long and jet black. Her first hair dye was red. And Hollywood dyed her hair light blonde.
No. All the hundreds of books I have show she was white blonde as a child. As a teen it was wavy, mid brown. The Emmeline Snively Modelling Agency persuaded her to go blonde at 18 because blondes got more work. Her figure stats from the agency were 35-23-35. Her weight gains were pregnancy related. She always miscarried at 4 to 4.5 months . She had endometriosis. She also had crippling insomnia, anxiety & depression leading to a prescription pill addiction.
@@sarahholland2600 True, look at her baby pictures, she was born a natural blond which turned to a light brown when she was a teen.
@@VIOLENTCITY the hair ‘lightens’ with age due to the loss of melanin. It’s not really getting lighter, we literally loose the colour when we age. As for a child to adult, hair doesn’t always go lighter.
Everyone around her used her. All she wanted was to be happy and to be loved.
The more I learn of Marilyn's life the more I love her and honor her memory. She had it all. She could make people laugh and had an incredible depth of feeling. The 'Misfits' very much showcased how much I will always love this incredible but fragile human being.

@@henryeckstein6443 well just saying the truth. Marylin Monroe was made. Not born. Many surgeries, trauma and lies around her/his life.

I mean yes she had trauma and mild plastic surgery but nothing gender reassigning?
She had Borderline Personality Disorder because of her past, something she and I have in common. Its a hard life in the foster system, and having a schizophrenic father myself, I feel for her. ❤️
I actually didn’t know she had it. I have it too and have always told everyone that she has our “BPD” eyes. You can just see it when you look into the eyes of someone else who has it. I bet her mom had it a severe case of it hence the paranoia and delusions making them not knowing what else to diagnose it with.
And by the way Judy Garland and Britney Spears have the “BPD Eyes” I’m trying to explain. Just an example.
my last girlfriend had bpd, diagnosed by an excellent shrink. the girlfriend was a licensed therapist and the hatchet job she did on my mind, my heart has caused me to become a hermit and never date again. it's been 16 years now......i didn't know how to defend myself back then, i do now.
10 yrs ago i awoke from a weeks long coma to find her sitting on my hospital bed; the first words i could croak were: Leave!!!

Marylin wasn't dumb. She was a fighter who made something of herself. She isn't remember simply for her looks
She literally looks almost identical to my grandmother in the wedding photo.
Knowing the trauma she went through and her mother being schizophrenic really helps me to relate to her way more. I already saw her as my favorite icon but now I understand her
You forgot the part where they killed her because she knew too much and made it look like a suicide.
What did she know too much about? Was it the triangle people? She had close ties with Kennedy, and not even sexually.
She was not Killed. But yes it hath surfaced that she did indeed hath love affairs with both Kennedy brothers and that Robert Kennedy did come to visit MM before she did pass on, upon that very day earlier on and where they did argue. The house of MM was bugged. For quite awhile. There is clear definitive proof of her involvement with both Kennedy men. But also proof that they did not actually kill MM but that their involvement with MM was covered up - a lot of evidences of the like destroyed in a clear up operation. That was due to John Kennedy being the President of America at the time. Thus there could not be afforded a major scandal.
MM passed on from her own hand. Via an overdose. Either accidental or a deliberate one.
Her husband cheated on her just so you know she didn’t left him she had no choice but just to leave
@@goodone5590 She did have affairs with a lot of married men tho! including JFK and threatened his wife of taking her place. She’s no angel.

I love marilyn monroe so much shes such a beautiful woman I hate to see how she went all through that
RIP Norma jean
When asked about her legacy she said that she hoped when she passed away no one would talk about her anymore.
Where is your source/proof for this? I have not heard Marilyn Monroe ever say she would not want her legacy continued beyond death.
I believe this! Because they used to talk so bad about her. Tabloids & Writers were always spreading rumors about her. Claiming she had so many abortions because she hated kids. Back in the day a website had her autopsy photos on display. Claiming her uterus was scarred from abortions etc. It was sick. And a huge invasion of her privacy. So many ppl used & abused her. Women hated her. Men seen her as a piece of meat. Idk how she stayed so strong thru everything she went thru.
She didn’t decide to get married, her guardians married her off because they were moving outta state & couldn’t take her
She's one of my relatives and so much is tragic about her life, and very much sad to our family.
Her foster parents arranged for her first marriage. I saw interviews of him while he was alive. Then worked in a War Plant, where they took pictures of her about safety on the job. Went to Hollywood with the photographer he took pictures of their time together.

*I wish more people see Marilyn as a real person and not a sex symbol. she's been so highly exploited that people no longer see her as a person. she was so ahead of her time and she deserved so much better so it just makes me mad when people don't recognize that. it also makes me mad that the movie Blonde is being made since it's pretty much an exploitation of her image and it's so disrespectful to her. many people don't recognize how good of an actress she was and it's not fair that she mostly got dumb blonde roles. she was so amazing in Don't Bother To Knock*
I think you right the image that’s being portrait of Marilyn isn’t the real person at all who could’ve given Hollywood more than simple easy roles were given to her I think she was completely opposite smart intelligent as the man who married her has a lot to say about her real character and personality Hollywood sold us naive empty headed lost blonde image fake character
Do you think she would've cared as much about you?! Definitely not so knock it off
@@wesleywashington1251 Marilyn was very particular about her clothing and who wore it. She even went as far as to leave a note in her will specifically requesting that her dresses be given to her close friends and family members. I also don't think she would support Kim in losing tons of weight dangerously to fit into the dress either. One of he designers of the dress even said: "[Marilyn] was a goddess. A crazy goddess, but a goddess. She was just fabulous. Nobody photographs like that. And it was done for her. It was designed for her. Nobody else should be seen in that dress." Marilyn even said "I want you to design a truly historical dress, a dazzling dress that's one of a kind." She wanted the dress to be HERS.
Her blond hair was crazy gorge and matched her Marilyn persona.
My question is, how did her hair not fall out from constantly dying it? 🥰😲

Her breakout was a magazine photo shoot that my grandmother went to also. They looked almost identical at the time. My grandmother is old school Christian and was very modest. Her demons were perpetuated by the movie industry and political devils who used her fame and beauty for their own selfish gains.. she commented on an article/book she was exhausted with the casting couch used in biz as usual behavior that actors/actresses (men & women & underage minors) performed sexual favors were the norm & famous male actors also performed sexual favors for rich & powerful MEN for movie roles .. still to this day 😡

There's actually a whole series about this. Well, movie series by Lifetime titled "The Secrets of Marilyn Monroe" I think? It's been a while since I watched it, but I remember being so heart broken when she lost her child and suffered hallucinations thinking they were still alive. Her husband tried to be there, but he gave up. I think. again, it's been a while.
This explains why she was promiscuous (for that time period.) She was simply yearning for parental love. So sad.
Love her so much. So sad she passed so young. I can only imagine the brilliant movies lost to the world and and the children, movie awards, and just plain happiness Marilyn brought her fans. Just maybe we could have returned her some if given the chance time would have offered.
So beautiful and so sad that life is so hard, even when they seem to have everything. It reminds me of James Bourdain and Kate Spade who although they seemingly had everything committed suicide. Honestly I think Jesus is the only thing that keeps me sane.
Not only was she gorgeous but she was also Really kind... But ppl only noticed her negative sides, because thats how people are... They always see the negative side of others but never the positive
Paranoid schizophrenia runs in my family. Based solely on personal experience, Marilyn staying in her Mom's custody potentially be just as bad or worse. Waking up to someone in the midst of a psychotic break (with a history of violence) starring down at you is not fun.
