Considering this is a match where controlling space is key, relying on booms and the ability to throw multiple EXs (VT1) and knockdown makes the difference provided you get it but Guile's V-reversal causes a soft knockdown which allows you to start throwing out your Boom while their's is still in motion. Notice how Daigo then picked up on it? That gray health and screen position is too important. They're both good Vtriggers but VT2 gets the most mileage on jump ins but Caba played mostly on the ground.

Using a controller in an arcade game tournament is sloppy and half assed. The game doesnt need anymore the precise inputs you can get from a fightstick. Capcom basically betrayed dedicated pros to sell more games.

Top 16 to grand finals should be FT3, is very difficult to adapt in a FT2. Still both of theese players are really good, let's see how well does Caba in top 8.

Personality wise Caba is a pure asshole for sure. But in this set he clearly knows what he needs to do against Daigo. Constantly spending v bar through boom is smart. During the last round it seems Daigo is afraid of throwing booms. Great game, I used to consider Caba as a terrible person since he causes troubles to MenaRD a lot.
