For a 15 year old adolescent girl to perform at such a solemn event with the kind of grace and poise demonstrated here by Emma is extraordinary.

Thanks for another Emma reaction, nicely done.
Also, thanks to @Herka5420 I found a link to a new performance of Father which Emma sang earlier this month (8th May) in The Hague. Its probably not a good enough quality video for a reaction but for Emma fans its sublime. I think the audio shows an increasing maturity in Emma's performance, and visually Emma's dress is stunning, the way it interacts with the venue lights. This new video as a minimum complements the Margraten version shown here.

I also agree with @Herka5420 that the duet of 'When You Believe' with April Darby is very powerful, just beautiful. In your reaction here Dave, you mention Emma's confidence in front of large or special audiences. Well there is none more so than this one given that in the front row was the King and Queen of the Netherlands as well as the country's Prime Minister and other dignitaries.

I had the pleasure of seeing Emma live with Andre Rieu in Birmingham on 17th May - If anyone reading this gets the chance to go, you absolutely MUST go. Live, Emma is overwhelming, there is no other word for it. Her voice drowns you and stops you breathing. She is otherworldly.

Dave I have an interesting condundrum today, this video only went up 24 hours ago, and I don't need to say much, as others have already given the links to the pieces that are relevant, Roger summed it up so well, her recent updated version of Father is stunning, there are a number of changes, and you will enjoy it, in that you remarked on her top note section and the new version she went a good bit higher, even more powerfully, for Emma fans, a sublime performance, even her signature song, Voila is not the same as it was last summer, she's made subtle changes that enhance the overall performance, when you hear her live, as we did recently, you don't just hear her, you feel the presentation, it gets deep into parts of you that you didn't realise were there, and it produces a reaction that's beyond spiritual, it's beyond that, and it's beyond a religious experience.
There is a video of the latest version of Voila, and it's followed by a performance of a Michael Jackson song, 'Heal the world', captured at Wembley in London on May 15th,

Having said that, Emma has had a hard time recently, with concerts all over the place, she's not a lover of flying, and her illness causes some issues with things like larger airports, she has stamina issues that can mean even walking some distance is an issue, and she's constantly carrying the equivalent of a boat anchor, and I can't even begin to comprehend the hassles that must cause at things like airport security, and she can't just put them to one side, it doesn't work like that, a whole extra level of aggravation that is potentially stressful for her, there was a recent heartbreaking post on social media about her struggles with her illness, not the fact she's performing so much, that's her therapy, her freedom, more that the massive constraints of 22 hours a day on the tube feeding and all that entails, and the effects on her of the illness, and it looks like some of her extended family in Andre's orchestra have got alongside her, and helped lift her spirits a bit, which is really good to see.
I close with my regular comment, and given the pressures Emma's feeling, it's even more important than usual.
Emma's foundation can be found at gastrostars.nl
Please, if at all possible, join me in making a (regular) contribution to her foundation, to enable them to help patients like Emma, and research this awful disease that has affected her from birth, and requires her to be tied to the pumps and feeding tubes since she was 9 MONTHS old, for 22 hours a day, hopefully, the work of her foundation will find a cure.
One of their main people is a surgeon who has a lot of experience in dealing with gastroparesis, and she is not only a surgeon, but also suffers from the same disease herself, to the extent that as a result of her condition worsening, she's had to leave her role in the hospital, and she is now dedicated to the foundation, and working to help find possible new treatments, or even better the cure that will free people like Emma to live a more normal life, rather than be tied to the feeding pumps for so many hours every day.
It will be so good if the work of Emma's foundation can lead to a better treatment, or even a cure, which will free her to do more singing, and it may be people here who make that possible.

Emma is so talented and amazingly strong. She did also "Hero" on that same concert. You can look foor it.
One of her latest live performances is a duet on the 5th of May during the Liberationconcert in Amsterdam together with April Darby with the song "When you Believe".
It is so strong and touching.
    Look for it: ua-cam.com/video/YG8WV1GFt_c/v-deo.html
    Thanks for yout reaction.
    Keep up the good work

Emma's performance at the Liberation Day event in Amsterdam with April Darby was, as you said, 'strong and touching'. In my mind it also represents a coming of age performance. She not only held her own with an older, established artist, but she added a power and conviction to the performance that no one who has seen it will ever forget. She may be physically small and unintimidating in appearance, but put a microphone in her hand and she becomes a Lioness.
Also, it is interesting to me that Emma seems to have become the 'go to' performer for national events in the Netherlands. She has definitely embedded herself in the hearts of her countrymen. I can see a day in the not too distant future when she becomes the Netherland's number 1 export to the world. Indeed, I think this is already happening.
      All the best.

@@exeter1588 Well said. I am feeling the same about her. And.............. SHE DESERVES IT. But her wellbeing is number one.

@Herka5420 Her well-being is also a concern of mine. She does seem to have periodic episodes of despair related to the complications of her condition and its consequences. She recently posted the lyrics of a song she's been working on. It's absolutely heartbreaking that she sometimes feels she is incapable or is somehow unworthy of finding love. For an intelligent, beautiful and talented young girl of 16, such thoughts must be devastating. But you are right. She is strong, and I believe she will pull through and that she will find the love she deserves. This is something I pray for everyday.

@@exeter1588 Thereby she has a confusing age. Around 16 is the age that normally is forming you and explore everything etc. For Emma it is in my opinion very very difficult to go through that period with het limitations. That is so sad. It is an every day struggle. Luckily she gets lots of help. Family, her extended family, friends and so on.
But yes, she has to go through all of it by herself and that is not easy eveytime.

@@Herka5420 Have you ever heard Emma perform the song 'Alle is Greis' by Jaap Reesema? It, I believe, is a glimpse into her inner world, much as the song 'Ze Huilt Maar Ze Lacht' is.
All teenagers struggle with of issues of identity and self-worth, but for Emma, given her unfortunate circumstances, these issues are magnified to an unbelievable level of intensity. She is indeed fortunate to be surrounded by family and friends, and I might add fans, who truly love her and care about her.
