This is a comprehensive resort tour of the Sandals Montego Bay from our 14 nights in July 2022. I try to present as much as I can, including four rooms. However, don't expect to see the gym; l I hate gyms and in my opinion there is no place for gym's on holiday.
You mentioned Montego Bay has the RFID keys in comparison to Sandals Grande Antigua with the magnetic keys. We stayed at Antigua last year (August 2022) and luckily we only ran into an issue with the keycard once when I boneheadedly put the card in the same pocket I had my AirPods Pro case in. After that I was extra careful with the key card. We're staying in Montego Bay next month so it will be nice to not have to worry about that. Great video!
Alan, you'll love Montego Bay. Sandals were investing in a room modernisation project when we were there in 2022 so by now I'd assume they've all been upgraded to RFID. For the first time in 10 years - we've no plans to visit Sandals this year. I just don't think they provide service levels at the prices they charge. Going to try some European 5-Star al inclusive now the Russians are in exile.
Great video as always. You commented several times about the swim up rooms. We stayed in a club level swim up room at Sandals South Coast in June of this year and absolutely loved it! It was the best room we have ever had at a Sandals. The South Coast resort was also wonderful! We will be in Antigua in July 2023 for our 25th anniversary.
I absolutely love your videos! Your Good, Bad and Ugly at the end was very good. I agree with you even though we do get Butler service I think it is beyond entitled to get 1 set of chairs let alone 3 sets and not use them. Everyone pays a lot of money, none of us are special. Also, Sandals should be romantic NOT corporate! I love to follow you and Fiona, you seem to have such fun. Your advise really helps in my research of locations to pick. Thank you for the fun you bring to your travel video and the comedy duo of Michael of Donna are a great!
Alison, so glad to help you. We've not booked any trips for 2023 yet. We won't be booking Sandals as we're done with them for a few years. After a horrendous trip back from NYC last month, I also think we're done with long haul traveling for leisure. Who know what we'll do in 2023 but the Sandals videos are still doing well, which I'm delighted about.
That out dated room that you said hadn't been updated since the 1980s is currently being renovated.

Hey Brandon Sandals Grenada. A small intimate resort with such great restaurants. However, the Sandals Grande Saint Lucia will always hold a special place in our heart.
