I heard that a LLC can be punched through in a lawsuit and they can still get the owners assets. The information I read is it's better to have good liability insurance vs a LLC. Any advice on that?

Yeah this is all fine and good, but what about actually compensating someone for something that happened to them at no fault of theirs on the grounds of someone else's property? Is it always just about running and hiding like mice and hoarding your food and drink so no one else can get it even if you actually cause that person to not get theirs or even have a life where they can get their own? Gotta love it. #

This is helpful. Do you need to have an LLC set up in the state where the property is or where you live? Or, is it both?
