Late, but........you earned yourself a subscriber, my guy (from a "typical" seasonal anime reactor at that). Even though I never played the game from which the anime was adapted from and wasn't aware of how accurate or not it was, the OG Idolmaster anime became a high personal favorite as of recently. I loved every single one of the ensemble idol cast, but I think Chihaya stood out to me the most because of how her character and background/backstory was constructed compared to everyone else. It wasn't necessarily complex, but it was sure deep and heartfelt, and I'm not gonna lie, as much as it's hard for me to get emotionally moved nowadays, Ep 20 really touched me. That silly bunch of 765 genuinely is like one big family.

episode 20 is my soft spot, even after watching it more than over 2 years ago, this episode is no joke the only fiction media that could ever made me cry, and I say this because I'm not a emotional guy at all, I insta-loved Chihaya since the first episode (probably because she looked like Umi, which was my favourite LL character, then I discovered it was the other way around) and that episode sold me, she's my best girl since 2016.
fun fact: she was the first iDOLM@STER character I've ever saw, back in 2012 while searching for the Town music, I didn't even knew what the franchise was about

I just lost a brother very recently and this video hits me really hard. He was the nicest and the sweetest brother and yet I took him for granted. All I have now is a deep regret and there's nothing I can do to erase it, it's a curse that I have to live with for the rest of my life.
You will realize how valuable something is AFTER you lost it. Trust me, it hurts. I really hope that whoever reading this can avoid making the same mistake as I did and can take a good care of their loved one.

You know I am really glad you made this, I know iDOLM@STER can be misconceived because it's mostly an 'idol anime' persay, but it has such a huge emotional pull on me as a whole, I rewatched this anime so many times from start to finish, Chihaya is such a great character. I am always going to love this anime, it will always be close to my heart.

Fuck man, this anime made me feel stuff no other anime has made me, I had to stop watching the show for a few days after this episode.
