It IS kind of strange to leave out Star Dream when it had a whopping three themes (and brings NOVA representation to the table with its third theme), but it's also really impressive to get Haltmann's battle theme to work in a medley. It's so all over the place and chaotic that it seems like a hard song to get to work for medleys-- but the fact that you got it to work is impressive, and I love how it just barges in with its opening notes! A+! It's really good, this whole medley is fantastic.
So, as I was listening to this through on normal speed, I was browsing the comments as well. And I was surprised to see so many people saying bump the speed up to 1.25x. When I finished listening to this on normal speed, I decided to check it out on 1.25x and oh my god. So like, the song is great on normal speed, and there's some really sexy sections, but 1.25x? I have no idea how it's possible, but it's somehow gotten 25x better than before. Some parts, especially in the latter half just sound natural, and are absolute eargasms to behold. Do yourself a favor. Listen to this on normal speed, and then go back and listen to it on 1.25x. You absolutely will not regret it. Side note, the Metaknight/Morphoknight section and basically the entire last 5 minutes are my favorite parts of the song.
Thank you soooo much for including Necrodeus, i have the biggest bias towards mass attack with it being my first ever Kirby game and one of my first ever games in general. So you can imagine i was pretty happy to see that Necrodeus’ already awesome theme got an even better remix.
